Aftermath Music is a record label based in Trondheim, Norway. Aftermath Music opened in 1997 as a small music shop, but also operates in various other fields.

Disembowelment, often styled as diSEMBOWELMENT, was an Australian death-doom band that formed in November 1989 featuring Renato Gallina on guitar and vocals, and Paul Mazziotta on drums. In early 1991 Jason Kells joined on lead guitar and at the end of that year the group's line-up was completed by Matthew Skarajew on bass guitar. In 1992 they issued an extended play, Dusk, on Relapse Records and followed with a studio album, Transcendence into the Peripheral, in 1993. They disbanded shortly thereafter – never having performed live. AllMusic's Eduardo Rivadavia described them as "[s]till revered in underground circles as doom-grind pioneers ... [their works] remain genre classics".

Runemagick is a Swedish death/doom band formed in 1990. The band was started by Nicklas "Terror" Rudolfsson under the name Desiderius, which was quickly changed to Runemagic. First, the band consisted solely of Rudolfsson, but he was later joined by Robert "Reaper" Pehrsson. They started out as a pure death metal band but later incorporated doom metal influences, inspired by the likes of Bathory, Treblinka/Tiamat, Celtic Frost, Nihilist/Entombed, and Candlemass.

Doom (British band) crust punk band

Doom are an English hardcore punk band from Birmingham whose first lineup were together from 1987 to 1990. Despite its short existence, the band is considered pivotal in the rise of crust punk, a punk rock style that fuses extreme metal with anarcho-punk. They recorded for Peaceville Records and are cited as an early precursor to grindcore. Doom were also a favourite of BBC Radio DJ John Peel.

Greg Anderson is an American musician, a co-founder of Southern Lord Records. He is the guitarist of stoner doom band Goatsnake, but is also well known for his collaborations with Stephen O'Malley.

While Heaven Wept is an epic doom metal band based in Dale City, Virginia, United States. The primary writer and overall engine of the band is mainman Tom Phillips. Their melodic, classically influenced style could be compared to bands such as Solitude Aeturnus and Solstice ; however, 2003's acclaimed Of Empires Forlorn saw the band branching out into a variety of metal and progressive styles. This trend continues on their 2009 album, Vast Oceans Lachrymose, and on their 2011 album, Fear of Infinity.

The Garden of Unearthly Delights is the eighth full-length album by the British doom metal band Cathedral. It was released on 26 January 2006. The album title is inspired by the Hieronymous Bosch painting The Garden of Earthly Delights. The album was recorded at New Rising Studios and produced by Warren Riker.

Brainoil is a United States doom and sludge metal band from Oakland, California. Brainoil members have been long-term contributors to the East Bay underground punk and metal music scene.

Wyrd is a Finnish Pagan black metal band which was formed in 1998. The band was originally formed under the name Hellkult in 1997 by Narqath and drummer Kalma. The first Wyrd demo was released in early 2000, "Unchained Heathen Wrath" featured material recorded between 1998 and 2000. The lyrical themes are centered on old folklore and Nordic mythology. The name "Wyrd" is from Old English, meaning fate.

Rigor Sardonicous is an American doom metal band from Long Island, New York. Coined as "raw, apocalyptic doom", Rigor Sardonicous is one of the earliest American doom metal bands that are still active today among Novembers Doom and Evoken. The band members are committed to unearthing the darkest, deepest funeral doom sounds imaginable since coming together in 1988. According to the interview, the band is influenced by slow parts of death metal bands like Obituary, Winter and Autopsy.

Beneath Oblivion is a four-piece Cincinnati, Ohio-based doom metal band. Since forming in 2003 they have released a demo in 2004, a full-length album in 2006, a 10" split in 2007, a self-titled 10" EP in 2009, a 7" split and a 2xLP in 2011. They are said to have the loud and heavy elements of sludge American underground, with DIY/punk ideas, ethics and touring style; Open minded to many different forms of music, sound and experimentation, but with more European funeral doom and death metal influences than anything.

Mar de Grises band that plays death-doom

Mar de Grises was a Chilean death/doom metal band created in 2000. A good translation of "Mar de Grises" would be "Sea of Grief," or equivalently, as grey is the Spanish color of sorrows as blue is in English, "Sea of Greys".

Poema Arcanus is a Chilean death/doom metal band that was formed in the early 1990s and has four full-length studio albums under their name. The band was originally named Garbage; they later changed their name to Garbage Breed and eventually settled on their current name of Poema Arcanus. Influences of Poema Arcanus include, among others, Autopsy, Candlemass, Fields of the Nephilim, My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Queensrÿche, Solitude Aeturnus, and Voivod. This band has been a live supporting act for bands such as Napalm Death, Moonspell, and Candlemass. They are currently signed to the Norwegian label Aftermath Music.

The Funeral Orchestra is a funeral doom band from Sweden signed to Aftermath Music.
