The Agency for the Modernisation of Ukraine (AMU) is a nongovernmental organization. The AMU promotes political stability and economic growth within Ukraine. [1] It was founded in March 2015 and is headquartered in Vienna. The former Austrian politician Michael Spindelegger is President of the AMU.
The AMU wishes to develop a modernisation programme for Ukraine that will be submitted to the Ukrainian parliament in fall 2015. Seven political and economic experts are working on the programme: Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz, former Prime Minister of Poland; Professor Otto Depenheuer, legal scholar from Germany; Bernard Kouchner, founder of Doctors Without Borders and the former French Minister of Foreign and European Affairs; Lord Ken Macdonald, former Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) of England and Wales; Waldemar Pawlak, former Prime Minister of Poland and Günter Verheugen, former Vice President of the European Commission. According to a broadcast of the AMU, in summer 2015 there will be a “round table” in Ukraine for each sphere of action. [4] These will include NGOs as well as Ukrainian citizens. The AMU was founded at the suggestion of the Ukrainian Social Partners, the Trade Unions Federation of Ukraine and the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine, whose chairman, Dmytro Firtash, has provided the funds for the AMU.

Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz is a Polish left-wing politician who served as Prime Minister of Poland for a year from 7 February 1996 to 31 October 1997, after being defeated in the Parliamentary elections by the Solidarity Electoral Action (AWS). He was born in Warsaw.

Waldemar Pawlak(listen) is a Polish politician. He has twice served as Prime Minister of Poland, briefly in 1992 and again from 1993 to 1995. From November 2007 to November 2012 he served as Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy. Pawlak is the only person who held the office of prime minister twice during the Third Republic, and he remains Poland's youngest prime minister to date.
Bernard Kouchner KBE is a French politician and doctor. He is the co-founder of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and Médecins du Monde. From 2007 until 2010, he was the French Minister of Foreign and European Affairs in the center-right Fillon government under president Nicolas Sarkozy, although he had been in the past a minister in socialist governments. In 2010, The Jerusalem Post considered Bernard Kouchner the 15th most influential Jew in the world. Since 2015 Kouchner is workstream leader for the AMU, where he contributes his expertise in healthcare.

Sven Otto Julius Littorin is a former Swedish politician and architect of major structural reforms. As Minister for Employment in the cabinet of Fredrik Reinfeldt, he was in charge of the major overhaul of Swedish labor policies between 2006-2010. As President of the European Council of Ministers, in its Epsco formation, he oversaw the European Union response to labor market effects during the financial crisis of 2008-09. As party secretary of the Moderate Party 2002-2006, he played a major role in restructuring the party. The Oxford University Ice Hockey Club (OUIHC) is home to the Men’s and Women’s Blues ice hockey teams of the University of Oxford, England. The Men's Blues, also known as Oxford University Blues, is one of the world's oldest ice hockey teams. Tradition places the origin of the team in 1885, when a match is said to have been played against Cambridge University Ice Hockey Club in St Moritz, Switzerland. This date is recognised by the Hockey Hall of Fame, and prior to the 1985 Ice Hockey Varsity Match, the International Ice Hockey Federation formally recognised the 1885 game as the first ice hockey match played in Europe. However, there is no contemporary evidence that this match took place, and Oxford now claims that this was a bandy match.
The (European) Union Space Programme was established along with its managing agency in 2021, in order to implement the pre-existing European Space Policy established on 22 May 2007 when a joint and concomitant meeting at the ministerial level of the Council of the European Union and the Council of the European Space Agency, known collectively as the European Space Council, adopted a Resolution on the European Space Policy. AMU Malappuram Centre is one of the prominent educational institution of Aligarh Muslim University in south India in the state of Kerala in Malappuram district near Perinthalmanna at Cherukara post. It was established in 2010 by the ministry of Human resource and Development, central government of India. The President of India in her capacity as the Visitor accorded sanction to establish two Centers of Aligarh Muslim University, one at Malappuram and the other at Murshidabad in 2010.

The Order for Exceptional Merits, is a state order of the Republic of Slovenia. The Collegium Polonicum in Słubice is a joint academic unit of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and of the Viadrina European University in Frankfurt (Oder). Its focus is on interdisciplinary scientific research and teaching on German-Polish, European, intercultural and cross-border issues. Collegium Polonicum is also a branch of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Słubice, in whose building this joint unit is physically based. This building had been erected in the years 1992-2001 by the Adam Mickiewicz University for the purpose of joint research and teaching activities with the Viadrina European University. As branch of Adam Mickiewicz University, Collegium Polonicum is one of four such units located outside Poznań and notably housing the Academic Secondary School for General Education in Słubice.
