Aglaia Koras made her debut at age eleven with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. Mentored by Greek pianist Gina Bachauer, Koras studied, as a full-scholarship recipient, at the Curtis Institute of Music with Rudolf Serkin and Mieczyslaw Horszowski, [1] who was associated with Pablo Casals.
Koras completed her Bachelor of Music Degree from the Curtis Institute of Music in 1979 and her Master of Music Degree from Temple University in 1981, where she served simultaneously as a faculty member.
Koras' international solo career has included solo performances at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, [2] Merkin Concert Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center Concert Hall in Washington, DC., [3] and solo performances in France, England, Greece, Spain, Switzerland, Mexico, and Canada.
Koras has performed throughout the United States. Her appearances as guest soloist include the San Francisco Symphony, the Sacramento Symphony, [4] the Columbus Symphony, the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, the Denver Chamber Orchestra, the Queens Philharmonia, the Los Angeles Debut Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra, the Berkeley Promenade Orchestra, and the California Youth Symphony Orchestra. She has performed as guest soloist with conductors JoAnn Falletta, Arthur Fiedler, Harry Newstone, Carter Nice, Paul Polivnick, Michael Nowak, Verne Sellin, among others.
Performances include Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center Concert Hall in Washington, DC., the Phillips Gallery in Washington, DC, Lisner Auditorium, Strathmore Hall, American University, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, WHYY Radio Philadelphia, Temple University, University of Toronto, University of California at Los Angeles, University of Southern California, El Camino College, Metropolitan College, WETA Radio, KVOD Radio Denver, Fort Worth, Texas, Brigham Young University in Utah, Brazilian Radio, Spanish television, concerts in England, France, Greece, Spain, Switzerland, Mexico, and Canada.
Since 2006, Koras has performed twice yearly at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, where she has presented world premiere performances by living composers, as well as cycles by Beethoven, Chopin, and works by a wide variety of composers.
Koras won first prize in the American Music Scholarship Association International Piano Competition in Cincinnati, first prize in the International Chopin Young Pianists Competition in Buffalo, New York; first prize in the National Young Musicians Foundation Competition in Los Angeles; "Fine Artistry and Musical Excellence Award" from the Concert Artists Guild Competition in New York; finalist in the Chopin Koszciusko Competition in New York; La Gesse Foundation Fellow of France; and winner of the Ruth Slenczynska Award for Piano, among other prizes.
Discography includes her 2005 CD "Aglaia", which features works by Mozart, Bach, Chopin, Brahms, Mussorgsky, Prokofieff, and Samuel Barber, and her 2004 CD "Richard Strauss Burlesk for Piano Solo and Orchestra in D minor", among other recordings.
Rudolf Serkin was a Bohemian-born Austrian-American pianist. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest Beethoven interpreters of the 20th century.

Quynh Nguyen is a Vietnamese-American classical pianist based in New York City. She has performed extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, to wide critical acclaim. For her Carnegie Recital Hall debut, the New York Concert Review commented: “Ms. Nguyen’s pianism and music making are graced with beauty and exuberance. She is a real artist; a wonderfully communicative performer. What a compendium of intellect, sophistication and taste!” Dr. Quynh Nguyen currently serves on the piano faculty of Hunter College and the International Keyboard Institute and Festival in New York City.
Pavel Gintov is a classical pianist. Gintov currently studies with acclaimed Professor Nina Svetlanova at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, where he is now completing his Doctoral studies.

Charlie Albright is an American pianist and composer. He is an official Steinway Artist, 2014 Avery Fisher Career Grant Recipient, 2010 Gilmore Young Artist (2010) and former Young Concert Artist. He graduated from Harvard College (AB) and the New England Conservatory (MM) as the first classical pianist in the schools' five-year AB/MM Joint Program, was named the Leverett House Artist in Residence for 2011–2012, and was one of the 15 Most Interesting Seniors of the Harvard College Class of 2011. He graduated from the Juilliard School of Music with his post-graduate Artist Diploma (AD) in 2014.
Marina Piccinini is an Italian American virtuoso flautist. She is noted for her performances of compositions by Mozart and Bach, and has performed with many of the world's top orchestras and conductors.
Daniil Olegovich Trifonov is a Russian pianist and composer. Described by The Globe and Mail as "arguably today's leading classical virtuoso" and by The Times as "without question the most astounding pianist of our age", Trifonov's honors include a Grammy Award win in 2018 and the Gramophone Classical Music Awards' Artist of the Year Award in 2016. The New York Times has noted that "few artists have burst onto the classical music scene in recent years with the incandescence" of Trifonov. He has performed as soloist with such orchestras as the Philadelphia Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Berlin Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Houston Symphony and the Munich Philharmonic, and has given solo recitals in such venues as Royal Festival Hall, Carnegie Hall, John F. Rueibin Chen is a Taiwanese concert pianist, who was selected by the government in a talent search and sent to Vienna, where he obtained a concert diploma at the Conservatory. Subsequently, he received a soloist's examination award from the Hannover Hochschule für Musik and then continued his study under the Russian pianist Lazar Berman.

Kate Liu is a Singaporean American classical pianist. On October 20, 2015 she won the third prize and the Polish Radio Award for the best performance of mazurkas in the 17th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland.
