Manṣūr ibn Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Yūsuf Ibn Ilyās was a late 14th century and early 15th century Persian physician from Shiraz, Timurid Persia, commonly known for his publication of the colored atlas of the human body, Mansur’s Anatomy. It is important to know that al-Jurjani (1040–1136) published a book called "Zakhireye Khwarazmshahi" which Mansur could have copied the illustrations from his book.

Gonbad-e Qabus or Gonbad-e Qabus Tower is a monument in Gonbad-e Qabus, Iran, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2012. It marks the grave of Ziyarid ruler Qabus, and was built during his lifetime in 1006/7. It is a cylindrical tomb tower that reaches c. 61 metres and can be seen from some 30 kilometres away. The eponymous city is named after the monument.

Al-Akhawyni Bokhari wrote about anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, signs, symptoms, treatment of the disease and surgery of tumors, urine stones, eyes, knee, bones, ... his time. His reputation was based on the treatment of patients with mental illnesses.
