Ahmed Haj Ali is an Eritrean politician who has held various posts within the Government of Eritrea.
After serving as Minister of Labour and Human Welfare,he was moved to the post of Minister of Tourism in February 1997. [1] He has subsequently served as Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources. He was also the first Eritrean Representative at the United Nations.
As of 2011,he is the Minister of Energy and Mines. He has signed mining agreements with companies from Western countries and China to facilitate the exploitation of Eritrea's mineral wealth. [2]
Isaias Afwerki is an Eritrean politician and partisan who has been the first and only president of Eritrea since 1993. In addition to being president,Isaias has been the chairman of Eritrea's sole legal political party,the People's Front for Democracy and Justice (PFDJ).
Ahmed Ouyahia is an Algerian politician who was prime minister of Algeria four times. A career diplomat,he also served as Minister of Justice,and he was one of the founders of the Democratic National Rally (RND) as well as the party's secretary-general.
