Big Brovaz were an R&B and hip hop music group from London, England. In their seven-year career they released two studio albums and eight singles. There were three line-up changes with two of the original members leaving halfway through. In 2006, the only two female members launched their own band Booty Luv, which was taking off following the success of their debut single "Boogie 2nite". After their second album failed to chart and with low sales of their last two singles, the band decided to split. In May 2012, the four members from the third line-up toured Australia with three of the members of S Club 7, but the reunion was short lived with no full tour or new material surfacing.
"Drop It Like It's Hot" is a single by American rapper Snoop Dogg featuring American singer/rapper/producer Pharrell Williams. Snoop Dogg performs the chorus and the second and third verses, while Pharrell performs the first verse. Pharrell would later interpolate a line from his verse on this song for "Raspy Shit", which was produced by Pharrell himself and contains vocal samples from Laid Back's "White Horse". Part of "White Horse"'s production is sampled in "Drop It Like It's Hot" as well.
"The Fallen" is a song by Scottish indie rock band Franz Ferdinand. It was released as the third single from their second studio album, You Could Have It So Much Better, on 3 April 2006, as a double A-side with new song "L. Wells". The single peaked at number 4 on the Scottish Singles Chart and number 14 on the UK Singles Chart.
Nu-Flow is the debut studio album by British R&B/hip hop group Big Brovaz, originally released on 4 November 2002. The album features five singles, of which four were UK top 10 singles—the title track "Nu Flow", which was a hit across Europe; "OK"; "Favourite Things" and "Baby Boy". The fifth single from the album was "Ain't What You Do", which peaked at number 15. The album peaked at number 6 on the UK Albums Chart and has been certified double platinum by the BPI.
"Nu Flow" is the debut single by British R&B collective Big Brovaz. It was the first single from their debut album Nu-Flow, released in late 2002.
Re-Entry is the second album released by UK R&B/hip-hop collective Big Brovaz. After the album was delayed in May 2006, the band finally release the follow-up to "Nu Flow" on 9 April 2007. Following the first single, "Yours Fatally" and the second single "Hangin' Around", the third single from the album, "Big Bro Thang", was received a staggered download only single release in February and March 2007. The album release also contain the Booty Luv hit "Boogie 2nite" as a bonus track.
"Whoops Now" and "What'll I Do" are songs by American singer Janet Jackson from her fifth studio album, Janet (1993). They were released in January 1995 as the album's eighth and ninth single, respectively. The songs reached number one in New Zealand and peaked within the top 20 in several countries.
"This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" is a song by American rock band Fall Out Boy and the second single from their commercially successful third studio album Infinity on High (2007). The song officially debuted on November 21 at the American Music Awards and was shipped to radio stations that night. The music was composed by vocalist and guitarist Patrick Stump and the lyrics were penned by bassist Pete Wentz, following the band's songwriting approach which first began with some songs on their 2003 album Take This to Your Grave. Production was handled by Neal Avron, who also produced the band's previous From Under the Cork Tree album. Commenting on the band's decision to pick the track as the first single, Wentz said "There may be other songs on the record that would be bigger radio hits, but this one had the right message."
Booty Luv are a British dance group formed in June 2006 by their record label, Hed Kandi. The group comprises two R&B vocalists, Cherise Roberts and Nadia Shepherd, both of whom were in the original line-up of the hip hop and R&B group Big Brovaz. To date, they have released one BPI Silver-certified studio solo album as a twosome, and have had five top twenty hits in the UK. They have also achieved international success, gaining hits in Ireland, Poland, the Netherlands and Germany.
"Favourite Things" is a single released in 2003 by the UK hip hop and R&B group Big Brovaz. The single is a track on Big Brovaz's 2002 debut album, Nu-Flow. Nu-Flow was re-released for a third time only six weeks after the previous re-issue to include "Favourite Things", which was not contained on either of the previous two issues of the album.
"Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg" is the debut single by American girl group TLC, from their debut album, Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip. It was released by LaFace Records on November 22, 1991. The song would ultimately peak at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and number two on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. The single also reached the top 20 in the UK Singles Chart. The song describes the group explaining that they don't mind begging for attention from their significant others. Songwriters Dallas Austin and Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes received a nomination for the 1993 Grammy Award for Best R&B Song. The song appeared in Dance Central 3.
"OK" is the second single by British R&B collective Big Brovaz. It was also the second single taken from their debut album Nu-Flow, released in late 2002. The album was re-released two weeks after the release of "OK" with the "OK" radio edit added and bonus tracks.
"Baby Boy" is a single released in 2003 by the UK hip hop/R&B group Big Brovaz. The single is the fourth single taken from Big Brovaz' 2002 debut album, Nu-Flow. "Baby Boy" became Big Brovaz' fourth UK top-ten hit, peaking at number four and spending three months on the UK Singles Chart. The song was also their third top-ten hit on the Australian Singles Chart, peaking at number eight and receiving a Platinum certification from the Australian Recording Industry Association. "Baby Boy" additionally reached number 10 in Ireland, number 13 in New Zealand, and number 29 in Flanders.
"We Wanna Thank You " is a single released in 2004 by the UK hip hop/R&B group Big Brovaz. The single was the first new material since their debut album, Nu-Flow, and was the theme song for the film Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. Jumping All Over the World is the thirteenth studio album by German Techno group Scooter, released in Germany in 2007. Five singles have been released from it: "The Question Is What Is the Question?", "And No Matches", "Jumping All Over the World", a remix of "I'm Lonely" and a new version of "Jump That Rock!" titled "Jump That Rock " recorded with British rock group Status Quo. The album's original artwork features people performing Jumpstyle.
Life Is a Dance: The Remix Project is a remix album of recordings by American R&B/funk singer Chaka Khan, released by the Warner Bros. Records label in 1989. The compilation takes its title from a track included on Khan's 1978 solo debut album Chaka.
Cherise Roberts is a British singer and songwriter who is a member of dance-pop duo Cherise & Nadia a.k.a. Booty Luv. She is also a former member of the hip hop group Big Brovaz. She has been with both groups since they both started. Cherise released a solo album, Look Inside before the debut album Nu-Flow by Big Brovaz was released. It only spawned one single, "2nd Best", while the album won a MOBO award.
