Air-Van Airlines was an airline based in Armenia. It was forced to suspend operations after the Armenian civil aviation authority decided not to extend its air operator certificate. It had operated two B747-200s and a DC-10 on charter services. [1]
Air-Van Airlines was forbidden from landing in Switzerland [2] & Belgium. These bans could be the cause for Air Van to appear on a proposed Europe-wide blacklist of some airlines. [2]

The Antonov An-12 is a four-engined turboprop transport aircraft designed in the Soviet Union. It is the military version of the Antonov An-10 and has many variants. Kam Air is the largest private Afghan airline. Founded in 2003, Kam Air has seven aircraft and a workforce of over 1,200 people, operating scheduled domestic passenger services throughout Afghanistan and international services to destinations in Central Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East. Its hub is at Kabul International Airport in the capital Kabul. Due to the collapse of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, all civilian services in the country were temporarily suspended on August 15, 2021. However, domestic flights restarted on September 5, 2021. International flights were also later resumed.
Air Astana is an airline group based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It operates scheduled international and domestic services on 64 routes from its main hub, Almaty International Airport, and from its secondary hub, Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport. It is a joint venture between Kazakhstan's sovereign wealth fund Samruk-Kazyna (51%), and BAE Systems PLC (49%). It was incorporated in October 2001 and started commercial flights on 15 May 2002. It is one of a small number airlines which has required neither government subsidy nor shareholder financial support to overcome the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, thus preserving its central corporate principle of financial, managerial and operational independence.

PT Wings Abadi Airlines, operating as Wings Air, is a scheduled commuter passenger low cost airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The airline operates out of Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar as well as several other airports around Indonesia. The company was established as a short-haul regional flight service, wholly owned subsidiary of Lion Air and started operations on July 10, 2003 and the airline is currently linking tier-two and tier-three cities in Indonesia as to bypass the airline's congested hub in Jakarta.

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) is a public sector autonomous body under the administrative control of the Secretary to the Government of Pakistan for Aviation, which oversees and regulates all aspects of civil aviation in Pakistan. PCAA's head office is situated in Terminal-1 of Jinnah International Airport in Karachi. PCAA is a member state of the International Civil Aviation Organization. Nearly all 44 civilian airports in Pakistan are owned and operated by the PCAA. Air Marshal (Retd.) Asim Suleiman was appointed to head the PCAA as its Director General on 27 November 2015.
Caspian Airlines Flight 7908 was a scheduled commercial flight from Tehran, Iran, to Yerevan, Armenia, that crashed near the village of Jannatabad, outside the city of Qazvin in north-western Iran, on 15 July 2009. All 153 passengers and 15 crew on board died.
