Kai Normann Andersen was a Danish composer who wrote film scores and music for stage revues and dramas. He composed songs for over 50 films between 1930 and 1965. In the 1930s and 1940s he dominated Danish film music. He has been called "[o]ne of the most appealing personalities of our time in the light music field". Twelve of his songs have been included in the Danish Culture Canon. Connie Hedegaard and Claus Hagen Petersen list him among the 100 most important Danes of the 20th century.
Jes Holtsø is a Danish actor most notable for his role as Kjeld's son Børge in the Olsen-banden films. The reason that he was chosen to play Børge was actually his thick glasses, which became his characteristic. Later he played the Olsens' son, William Olsen in the Danish television series Huset på Christianshavn from 1970 to 1977 and the film based on the series Ballade på Christianshavn in 1971. As an adult Holtsø never pursued acting, though he did take part in the last Olsen Gang film, The Olsen Gang's Last Trick, as the adult Børge.

Kåre Johannessen is a Danish historian, writer, lecturer and presenter. He is the former curator at the museum of Trelleborg and Middelaldercentret, where he worked from 1994 to 1999 and again from 2004 to 2015. Today he is a self-employed historian. While working at Trelleborg he recreated the Viking game of knattleikr and injured his knee so badly that he had to use crutches for a time.

Vestvolden is a rampart complex west of Copenhagen, Denmark. Stretching approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) from Avedøre in the south to Utterslev Mose in the north, it is part of the last generation of land fortifications of the city. Built in the period 1888–1892 by up to 2,000 workers, it was the largest construction project of its time in Denmark. Vestvolden was divided into two fortifications end to end, the southern one named Vestenceinten and the northern, much shorter one named Husumenceinten; the name Vestvolden emerged as an informal collective term for the two. The building of this fortification system began during the so-called "Provisorietiden" 1885–1894. Under the Prime Minister who lacked a parliamentary majority but still refused to resign, J.B.S. Estrup. Instead this Prime Minister managed to enforce his annual Financial Laws, by bringing about King Christian IX's support for Provisional Financial Laws. This included support from the so-called Landstinget as well. The Landstinget was a smaller assembly of politicians, of which half of its members were chosen by the Monarch.

Thomas Skat Rørdam (1832–1909) was a Danish priest and theologian who was Bishop of the Diocese of Zealand from 1895 until his death. In the course of his ecclesiastical career, Rørdam served as a local priest in small parishes on Zealand, a parish priest at the Church of the Holy Ghost in Copenhagen, and as provost at Holmen Church before being instated as Bishop of Zealand. He was a decorated member of the Order of the Danneborg.
