Akeem Mark Anthony Dewar (born 30 August 1991) is a Jamaican cricketer who has played for both the Jamaica national team and the Combined Campuses and Colleges in West Indian domestic cricket,as well as representing the Jamaica Tallawahs franchise in the Caribbean Premier League.
A right-arm leg-spin bowler,Dewar played for the West Indies under-19s at the 2010 Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand. [1] His best performance at the tournament came against Bangladesh,when he took 3/63 from ten overs. [2] Dewar made his first-class debut for Jamaica in April 2010,playing against Ireland in the 2009–10 Regional Four Day Competition. He made a further appearance for Jamaica the following season,but for the 2011–12 season switched to the Combined Campuses. [3] Against Barbados in February 2013,Dewar took a maiden first-class five-wicket haul,7/116. [4] He subsequently signed with the Jamaica Tallawahs franchise for the 2013 Caribbean Premier League season,but played only a single match. [5]

The Regional Four Day Competition,formerly known as Shell Shield and Carib Beer Cup,is the first-class cricket competition in the West Indies. It is administered by the Cricket West Indies. In the 2013-2014 season the winner of the tournament was awarded the WICB President's Trophy while the winners of the knockout competition were awarded the George Headley/Everton Weekes trophy. In a few previous seasons the winners of the tournament were awarded the Headley/Weekes trophy. From the 2017–18,the Competition had been sponsored by Digicel and was known as the Digicel Four Day Championship. In 2019-20,the competition has been known as the West Indies Championship.
Cricket West Indies (CWI),formerly known as West Indies Cricket Board (WICB),is the governing body for cricket in the West Indies. It was originally formed in the early 1920s as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control,but changed its name to West Indies Cricket Board in 1996. In November 2015,the Board resolved to rename itself as Cricket West Indies as part of a restructuring exercise that would also see the creation of a separate commercial body. This rebranding formally occurred in May 2017.

The WICB organises the West Indies cricket team,which represents the confederation in international cricket,as well as administering domestic cricket competitions across the West Indies.
Combined Campuses and Colleges (CCC) is a List A cricket team and former first-class cricket team that plays in the West Indies domestic competition the Regional Super50 and used to play in the Regional Four Day Competition. Effectively a continuation of the previous University of the West Indies cricket team,the team was created for the 2007/08 season and played their first matches in the KFC Cup one-day competition in October 2007.
Andre Dwayne Russell is a Jamaican professional cricketer who plays internationally for the West Indies and for Jamaica in West Indian domestic cricket as an all-rounder. He has played in more than 300 Twenty20 (T20) matches for a range of sides in leagues throughout the world. Russell scored a century in a record 40 balls in the 2018 Caribbean Premier League and took a hat-trick in the same match,becoming the second player to take a hat-trick and score a century in the same T20 match.

Nkrumah Eljego Bonner is a Jamaican cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies. An occasional leg spin bowler and top order right-hand batsman,Bonner made his first-class cricket debut for Jamaica against Combined Campuses and Colleges in February 2011.

The Caribbean Premier League is an annual Twenty20 cricket tournament held in the Caribbean. It was founded by Cricket West Indies in 2013 to replace the Caribbean Twenty20 as the premier Twenty20 competition in the Caribbean. It is currently sponsored by Hero MotoCorp and consequently officially named the Hero CPL. The inaugural tournament was won by the Jamaica Tallawahs who defeated the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the final.

Keon Harding is a Barbadian cricketer. He made his international debut for the West Indies cricket team in January 2021.
The 2019 Caribbean Premier League (CPLT20) was the seventh season of the Caribbean Premier League,the domestic Twenty20 cricket league in the West Indies. Matches were played in six countries –Trinidad and Tobago,Saint Kitts and Nevis,Guyana,Barbados,Jamaica and Saint Lucia. Originally,the tournament was scheduled to start on 21 August 2019. However,this was pushed back to 4 September 2019,to avoid clashing with India's tour to the West Indies.
