Akkineni Nageswara Rao, widely known as ANR, was an Indian actor and film producer, primarily known for his works in Telugu cinema. Over his seven decade career, he starred in numerous landmark films, becoming one of the most prominent figures in the industry. Nageswara Rao received numerous accolades, including seven state Nandi Awards, five Filmfare Awards South and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award. He was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest recognition in Indian cinema, in 1990. Additionally, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan (2011), Padma Bhushan (1988) and Padma Shri (1968), by the Government of India for his contributions to art and cinema.

Daggubati Ramanaidu was an Indian film producer known for his work in Telugu cinema. He founded Suresh Productions in 1964 which became of one of the largest film production companies in India. He was one of the most influential movie moguls in Indian cinema. He was placed in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most films produced by an individual, with more than 150 films in all official Indian languages. He also served as a Member of Parliament for the Bapatla constituency in Andhra Pradesh in the 13th Lok Sabha from 1999 to 2004.

He is a recipient of two National Film Awards for Ninne Pelladata (1996) and Annamayya (1997), ten state Nandi Awards and three Filmfare Awards South.

Akkineni Laxmi Vara Prasada Rao, known professionally as L. V. Prasad, was an Indian film director, producer, actor, and businessman. In 1980, he was awarded the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, for his contribution to Telugu cinema.

She was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2001 for her contribution to the Indian cinema. She was honored among "women in cinema" at the 30th International Film Festival of India.

Akkineni Sreekar Prasad is an Indian film editor known for his works across Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu language films. In a career spanning more than 35 years, he has edited over 600 films. He is a recipient of nine National Film Awards including seven wins for Best Editing which is a record in that category. He also won five Kerala State Film Awards, two Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards, and four Filmfare Awards among others.

Meghasandesam is a 1982 Telugu-language drama film, produced and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao under his Taraka Prabhu Films banner. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Jaya Prada, Jayasudha and music composed by Ramesh Naidu. This film is the 200th movie of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. The film was featured in the Indian Panorama section at the 9th International Film Festival of India, and the Moscow film festival. It won four Awards including Best Feature Film in Telugu at the 30th National Film Awards "For its lyrical and aesthetic qualities", the Filmfare award for Best Telugu Film and Nandi award for Best Feature Film. The film won nine Nandi Awards.

Laya is a former Indian actress and Kuchipudi dancer known for her work primarily in Telugu films alongside a few Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil films. Laya first appeared as a child actor in Bhadram Koduko (1992) and later she started working as a lead actress with Swayamvaram (1999). She is runner up in the Star 2000 contest conducted to introduce new talent and cast them in Paradesi movie and she has won three Nandi Awards including Special Jury Award and two Nandi Awards for Best Actress in consecutive years for Manoharam (2000) and Preminchu (2001).

Veeramachaneni Madhusudhana Rao was an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter, known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He is popularly known as 'Victory' Madhusudhana Rao. He directed nearly 70 films, including musical hits such as Annapurna (1960), Aradhana (1962), Aathma Balam (1964), Zamindar (1965), Antastulu (1965), Aatmiyulu (1969), and Krishnaveni (1974). He also produced Swati Kiranam (1992). Six of his films received the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film, and in 1965, he was awarded the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu for Antastulu. He was honoured with the prestigious Raghupathi Venkaiah Award for lifetime contributions to Telugu cinema by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 1997.

Bhadram Koduko was a 1992 Telugu film. It is directed by Akkineni Kutumba Rao. Santhosh Reddy played the leadrole. Laya was starring in the cast. The story is based on the various problems faced by the street children and child labour in India particularly urban areas. The film won two Nandhi State Film Awards and two National Film Awards.

<i>Sudigundalu</i> 1968 Indian film

Sudigundalu (transl. Whirlpools) is a 1968 Indian Telugu-language philosophical film, produced by Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Adurthi Subba Rao under the Chakravarthy Chitra banner and directed by Adurthi Subba Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, and has music composed by K. V. Mahadevan. It was released on 28 June 1968. The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu, The Nandi Award for Best Feature Film, and the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Telugu. It marked the debut of Nageswara Rao's son Nagarjuna as child artist in a cameo. The cult classic film was screened at the Tashkent Film Festival, and the International Film Festival of India.

Datla Venkata Suryanarayana Raju, widely known as D. V. S. Raju, was an Indian film producer known for his work in Telugu cinema. He is credited with playing a pivotal role in relocating the Telugu film industry from Madras to Hyderabad. Over his career, he produced around 25 films, including successful Telugu productions such as Maa Babu (1960), Mangamma Sapadham (1965), Pidugu Ramudu (1966), Tikka Sankarayya (1968), Gandikota Rahasyam (1969), and Jeevana Jyothi (1975), as well as the Hindi film Mujhe Insaaf Chaahiye (1983).

Chandra Siddarth is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer known for his works in Telugu cinema. He is known for his directorial works such as The Inscrutable Americans (2001) which premiered at Milan, New York, Atlanta, London and Kerala International Film Festivals. He received three state Nandi Awards for works such as Aa Naluguru (2004), and Andari Bandhuvaya (2010). In 1995, he produced Nirantharam which was screened at the Cairo International Film Festival. He served as Jury member at the 57th, 61st and 65th National Film Awards, as well as the 49th IFFI...served as jury member for Andhra Pradesh state Nandi awards and South Indian cinematographers association movie awards.

Dukkipati Madhusudhana Rao was an Indian film producer and screenwriter in Telugu cinema. Throughout his career, he received four National Film Awards and three Nandi Awards for his contributions to the industry. In 1993, he was honoured with the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award by the Andhra Pradesh government for his contributions to Telugu cinema.

Rangula Kala is a 1983 Indian Telugu-language drama film written and directed by B. Narsing Rao. The film won the Best Feature Film in Telugu, at the 31st National Film Awards "For a vivid portrayal of urban life as seen by a sensitive painter in search of his identification with the masses". It was screened in "Indian Panorama" of the 9th International Film Festival of India.
