Alan Partridge: How Are You? ^[1] is an upcoming BBC Comedy mockumentary series starring Steve Coogan as Alan Partridge. It was directed by Neil and Rob Gibbons, written by Coogan with Neil and Rob Gibbons, and produced by Baby Cow.

Synopsis

The six-part series follows Alan Partridge as he attempts to reintegrate into British life after spending 12 months working in Saudi Arabia. ^[2]

Production

Produced by Steve Coogan's Baby Cow production company, the series is written by Coogan's long-term collaborators the Gibbons brothers. It has been in development since 2019. The six-part series made up of 30 minute episodes will reportedly involve an exploration of mental health problems facing the United Kingdom. ^[3] Filming began in the south of England in early 2024 with the working title Alan Partridge's British History which then quickly was changed to the last working title And Did Those Feet..with Alan Partridge. ^{[4] [5]}

Speaking in January 2025, Coogan confirmed that filming was completed and that the title of the show was Alan Partridge: How Are You?. ^{[6] [7] [8]}
