Alanna was born on August 16, 1995, [1] in Mumbai to Deanne Pandey, a fitness expert, and Chikki Panday, a businessman. [2] She graduated in fashion management from the London College of Fashion. [3] In 2023, Alanna married Ivor McCray, an American filmmaker and photographer, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2024. [4]

Alanna began her career as a social media influencer, gaining over 1.8 million followers on Instagram, where she shares content related to fashion, beauty, fitness, and travel.
