Albert Joris (Charroux, 17 June 1915 - Jette, February 17 1986) was a Belgian sprint canoeist who competed in the late 1930s.

Joris competed in the K-2 1000 m at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, and was eliminated in the heats.

Joris Hoefnagel or Georg Hoefnagel was a Flemish painter, printmaker, miniaturist, draftsman and merchant. He is noted for his illustrations of natural history subjects, topographical views, illuminations and mythological works. He was one of the last manuscript illuminators and made a major contribution to the development of topographical drawing.

Jori Hulkkonen, is a Finnish DJ and a producer of house music, originally from Kemi, Finland. Hulkkonen started his career in the early 1990s when he worked with Jukka Hautamäki, Tuomas Salmela and Ari Ruokamo for their own label Lumi Records. In 1996 Hulkkonen signed a record deal with French record label F Communications; his debut album of the same year was called Selkäsaari Tracks. Internationally, Hulkkonen's most popular recording is the single Sunglasses at Night, a version of Corey Hart's 1980s hit, created together with Canadian producer Tiga. His most recent solo full-length Dualizm, released in 2005, featured collaborations with John Foxx, Nick Triani, Tiga, Jerry Valuri, and José González. Following up on the success of the Lo-Fiction single on Dualizm on which they collaborated, Jori began a synth-pop side project with Jerry Valuri called Processory, which released its self-titled debut in February 2007.

Jori Lance Chisholm is an American professional bagpipe player and teacher who lives in Seattle, Washington. Chisholm is a successful solo competitor winning the United States Gold Medal four times and has placed in the top three in Scotland's Argyllshire Gathering Gold Medal competition. He played with the six-time Grade One World Champion Simon Fraser University Pipe Band and was a featured solo performer for the band on multiple occasions. Chisholm has performed in front of sold-out audiences with The Chieftains and with ex-Grateful Dead rocker Bob Weir and his band Ratdog, and has been featured as a soloist or band member on over 20 recordings. His debut solo album Bagpipe Revolution was nominated for Album of the Year by Pipes|Drums magazine. He writes the "Sound Technique" column for the National Piping Centre’s bi-monthly Piping Today Magazine. The New York Times featured Chisholm's online teaching program, BagpipeLessons.com, and described him as a "top-tier teacher" in a front-page story about the growth of Skype music lessons. A cover story in American Profile Magazine named Chisholm one of the "world's elite pipers."
