Baruch Alberto Barrera Zurita (born 24 August 1973 in Veracruz, Veracruz) [1] is a Mexican politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (formerly to the National Action Party). As of 2014 he served as Deputy of the LIX Legislature of the Mexican Congress as a plurinominal representative. [2]

Alberto Beltrán García was a Mexican graphic artist and painter known principally for his work with publications such as illustrations and political cartoons but he created a number of murals as well. He was born in the rough neighborhood of Tepito and began drawing for local publishers when he was a teenager. He attended the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas where one of his teachers introduced him to the Taller de Gráfica Popular where he began his career in earnest. From the late 1940s until his death, he work with various publications, mostly newspapers, but he also did book illustrations as well. In his later career, he worked on a number of murals, especially in the state of Veracruz, which he had an affinity for. Despite winning a number of important awards for his work, he is relatively unknown even in Mexico, with collections of his work scattered among a number of institutions.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Darío Acosta Zurita</span>

Darío Acosta Zurita was a Mexican Roman Catholic priest who administered in Veracruz where he lived and was killed. Zurita commenced his studies for the priesthood after he had once been refused entrance and he became known as an athletic seminarian. Bishop Rafael Guízar Valencia ordained him in 1931 and he was killed three months later after armed gunmen stormed the cathedral – enacting the so-called Tejeda Law – and shot him dead.

Alberto Raposo Jiménez is a Dominican Republic male badminton player. In 2011, he competed at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, and in 2014 he also competed at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz, Mexico. He was the bronze medalist at the 2013 Pan Am Badminton Championships in the men's doubles event partnered with Nelson Javier.
