The Aldershot & District Football League is an English football league comprising teams from north east Hampshire and neighbouring parts of Surrey and Berkshire. It has one division, the Senior Division, which sits at level 13 of the English football league system. Teams may be promoted to the Hampshire Premier League Division One. The current champions are Hartley Wintney 'A'.

History

The league began as the Aldershot Senior League, founded in 1894 [1] for military teams, and introduced a 'Civilian' division of three teams in 1912–13. [2] After World War I the league featured civilian, military and works teams in the same division. [3] Today it consists solely of civilian teams.

Andover Football Club was an association football club based in Andover, Hampshire, established in 1883. Since the 2007–08 season, Andover had been a member of the Southern League Division One South and West at Step 4 of the National League System. The club played at this level for 29 of its 128 years of existence, and played its thousandth game in this league in 2008. Compared with earlier periods, the ten years from 1998 to 2008 were relatively successful for Andover, seeing them win a number of league and cup honours as well as registering their biggest ever win.
