Alejandro Pereyra

Alejandro Pereyra Doria Medina (born 24 February 1981) is a Bolivian poet and filmmaker. He was born in Sucre, Bolivia, lived in Mexico, Brazil and Germany for many years, and now lives in Bolivia. His 2009 feature film Verse was selected for the 2010 Zero Latitude Film Festival Ecuador and the 2011 Festival Del Cinema Latino Americano Trieste. [1]

Soriano is a biographical documentary exploring the life and works of Osvaldo Soriano, author of Funny Dirty Little War through testimonies of friends and family in Argentina, France, Belgium, Germany, and Italy. The documentary includes rare 16mm footage filmed by Soriano and friends in his hometown of Tandil in the early 1960s. Part of this original footage was used by the director to reconstruct a short film as it was scripted by a young Osvaldo Soriano. The show film is now on the permanent collection of several university libraries.

He then started correspondence courses from the National Centre for Distance Education.
