Alen MacWeeney

Alen MacWeeney (born 1939) is an Irish photographer. MacWeeney is known his photographs of itinerant Irish Travellers, made during a six-year period beginning in 1965. [1]

He is the author of the photo book Irish Travellers: Tinkers No More. [1] [2] [3] His work is included in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, [4] the Museum of Modern Art, New York [5] and the Art Institute of Chicago. [6]
