Alenis Vargas (born 4 December 2003) is a Honduran footballer who plays as a striker for Sporting KC.

Early life

Vargas grew up in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. [1] He joined the youth academy of Honduran side Olimpia at the age of seventeen. [2]

Club career

Vargas started his career with Honduran side Fútbol Consultants. In 2023, he signed for American side Sporting KC. On 2 February 2024, he debuted for the club during a 1–1 draw with Houston Dynamo.

International career

Vargas has been called up to represent Honduras internationally. He was first called up to the Honduras national football team for 2024 Copa América qualifying play-offs. [3]

Vargas mainly operates as a striker. He is known for his strength. [4]
