Alex Bruno de Souza Silva (born 7 October 1993), known as Alex Bruno, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Maltese club Hibernians.
Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas is a Brazilian sports club based in the neighborhood of Botafogo, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Although they compete in a number of different sports, Botafogo is mostly known for its association football team. It plays in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the top tier of the Brazilian football league system, and in the state of Rio de Janeiro's premier state league. Mogi das Cruzes is a municipality in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, located within the metropolitan region of the state capital of the city of São Paulo. Ioan Igna is a Romanian former football referee and player. Igna played football at UTA Arad between 1957 and 1960 and 1964–1967 and at Știința Timișoara between 1961 and 1964, he became a referee in 1972. He is known for having refereed two matches in the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, including an epic quarter-final match between Brazil and France. Igna made two controversial calls during the tie. In the second period of extra time, he did not penalise a foul by the Brazil goalkeeper Carlos on France attacker Bruno Bellone. BBC commentator Jimmy Hill described Igna's decision to ignore the foul by Carlos as "an extreme mistake". In the penalty shootout, he awarded a goal when Bellone's shot hit the post and the ball rebounded off Carlos before entering the goal. The laws of the game were subsequently amended to specifically address the situation that occurred in the penalty shootout.
Ladislav Petráš is a former Slovak football player. He played 19 matches for Czechoslovakia national team and scored six goals. Petráš was a participant at the 1970 FIFA World Cup, where he played three matches and scored two goals. Petráš also took part in the Euro 1976, where his team won the tournament. After scoring Czechoslovakia's only goal against Brazil, Petráš celebrated by kneeling and performing the sign of the cross, demonstrating his Catholic faith in defiance against the Communist regime in Czechoslovakia, which was contrary to any religious belief. Petras continues to be a Roman Catholic. In the second match of the tournament, Petráš scored the first goal of the match against Romania at the 4th minute.
