Alexander Alexandrovich Nevsky (born Alexander Alexandrovich Kuritsyn; 17 July 1971) is a Russian non professionals bodybuilder, [1] actor, writer, and producer. He is known for playing the role of Vlad Stepanov in Moscow Heat . [2] At the age of 25 he changed his surname from Kuritsyn to Nevsky. [3]

He is also a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and a voter for the Golden Globes. [4]

Early years

Alexander is the youngest child in the family. Father name is Alexander Nikolaevich Kuritsyn, master of sports in basketball; taught economics at MGIMO. Mother name is Evgenia Yanovna Kuritsyna, an instrument-making engineer by education.

K-550 Alexander Nevsky is a Russian nuclear ballistic missile submarine of the fourth generation Borei class. Named after the Russian saint Alexander Nevsky, the submarine was laid down in March 2004 and was first planned to be launched in 2009. However, budgetary problems and repeated failures of the submarine's main weapon, the Bulava SLBM missile, pushed the launch date backward.
