Alexandre (Alex) Folacci (born March 26, 1991) is a French Track & Field athlete [1] specialized in the Decathlon, and personal trainer [2] [3] living in Manhattan, New York.

Early life

Alex Folacci started competing professionally when he was 16 years old. He was selected for the National team of France at the age of 19 and represented his country internationally 6 times [4] between 2009 and 2013. At the age of 20, he won the national championship of France with 7210 pts, [5] finished 2nd at 21 with 7564 pts, [6] and won again with a substantial margin over the competition when he was 22 with 7729 pts. [7]

Professional career

Alex won the National Championship of France in 2011 and 2013.

In 2013, he finished 9th at the European Championship in Tampere Finland and 11th in the Decastar. [8]

In 2014, he moved to New York City, after being recruited by Manhattan College to do his master's degree. [9]

In 2015, he became a personal trainer in Manhattan, New York. [2]
