Alexandre Barrette (born September 30, 1981, in Quebec City, Quebec) is a French Canadian comedian and TV personality. He hosts several TV game shows seen on the V television network. They include Taxi Payant , the French Canadian version of Cash Cab and Atomes Crochus (Missing Links), the French Canadian version of the Match Game . [1]

The game show airs in Canada instead of the American version of the series, which airs on the affiliated US Discovery Channel network. Cash Cab is the English version of the Cash Cab franchise available in Canada; the French version is called Taxi Payant, and airs on V. On December 13, 2023, it was announced that the series would be revived as Cash Cab Music and hosted by Adam Growe from the Canadian version of Cash Cab. It premiered on AXS TV on January 8, 2024.

Taxi Payant is the French version of the Cash Cab franchise available in Canada. There is an English Canadian version as well, also called Cash Cab, which airs on the Canadian Discovery Channel.
