Alexandre Prot studies at HEC Paris (2006) and INSEAD. [2] He began his career at Goldman Sachs before continuing in strategy consulting at McKinsey & Company. [3] His beginnings as an entrepreneur date back to 2013, when he created, with his partner Steve Anavi, Smok.io, the first connected electronic cigarette. [4]
In 2016, he created Qonto to simplify the daily banking and financial lives of SMEs and self-employed people in Europe. [5] Since its creation, the unicorn has raised 622 million, bringing its valuation to 4.4 billion euros. [6]
