Alfred Peza

Alfred Peza was appointed as the Director General of RTSH in June 2023. He was elected unanimously by the Supervisory Council of RTSH for a five-year mandate. Peza, known for his extensive experience in journalism, editing, media analysis, lecturing, and leadership in various media outlets, had ambitious plans to elevate standards at RTSH, aiming to make it 'great once again in this digital era'. Prior to his role at RTSH, Peza served as a Parliamentary Member and the Deputy Chair of the Media and Education Committee at the Albanian Assembly from 2013 to 2017. Throughout his distinguished media career, he has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors and has authored numerous articles and several novels.

The international television service via satellite RTSH Sat was launched in 1993 and is aimed at Albanian-speaking communities in Kosovo, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and northern Greece, plus the Albanian diaspora in the rest of Europe. The Eugenio Lopez Jr. Communications Center is the newer and larger studio and office building of ABS-CBN located within ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center in Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. The building occupies ten thousand (10,000) square meters of land area within the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center and houses the network's offices, a studios, a three-level basement parking, a roof deck helipad, a film archive, a studio gallery, an exclusive executive dining restaurant, and garden. The building has a gross floor area of 101,608.32 square meters; almost seventy thousand (70,000) square meters of office space and over thirty thousand (30,000) square meters of parking space. The construction of the building, which costed 6 billion pesos, began in 1995, but was delayed due to the Asian Financial Crisis in 1997. It was opened in 2000, and was occupied gradually by the network in the following years, expanding the area of its business operations. It is a PEZA Special Economic Zone, designated as an IT center. It is named in honor of the late Eugenio Lopez Jr., the chairman emeritus of ABS-CBN. The dedication of the building was held on November 4, 2010, in a ceremony that was attended by the then-Philippine President Benigno Aquino III. ABS-CBN's Horizon PEZA IT Park, its soundstages, post-production and production facility of ABS-CBN is located at San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.

The Festivali i Këngës 2019 was the 58th edition of the annual Albanian music competition Festivali i Këngës. It was organised by Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) at the Pallati i Kongreseve in Tirana, Albania, and consisted of two semi-finals on 19 and 20 December, respectively, and the final on 22 December 2019. The three live shows were hosted by Alketa Vejsiu. The winner of the contest was Arilena Ara with the song "Shaj", after receiving 67 points with two points ahead over Elvana Gjata with the song "Me tana". Ara was then scheduled to represent Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, before its cancellation related to the pandemic of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In February 2023, he became part of the public broadcaster Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH), hosting Më prit në fundjavë and from October 2023 hosting 'E diela jonë. Friends of Europe chose Ermal Peçi as the Albanian representative at the European Young Leaders 2023 in Brussels, Belgium.
