Ali Matthews is a Canadian Contemporary Christian musician and songwriter from Stratford, Ontario, Canada.

Musical career

Ali Matthews began her career as a performing artist and songwriter while still in her teens. Her debut album Patchwork was released in 2000. Ali performs with guitarist and co-producer Rick Francis, and sometimes with a seven-piece band named The Good China. [1] She is a graduate of The University of Western Ontario and is married.

Ali has won fifteen Gospel Music Association Canada Covenant Awards, was nominated for a further thirteen, and has been nominated for seven Shai Awards. [1]

Matt Brouwer is a Canadian singer and songwriter. While in college, he and fellow students founded the band Monday Night Worship (MNW). Because of the spiritual content of his lyrics he was 'discovered' by a Nashville record company in 2000, and in 2001 recorded his solo debut CD Imagerical. The album was released on May 29, 2001, on Reunion Records. Jacob Moon is a solo Canadian folk singer/songwriter and guitarist based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He has an extensive repertoire of songs, with nine albums to his credit. He has won many accolades and has been invited to perform for and with some of his heroes, including Rush, Marillion, Ron Sexsmith and Gordon Lightfoot. Moon's famous YouTube cover of Rush's Subdivisions went viral in 2009 and has earned him many fans around the world.

Sea to Sea: I See the Cross is the second album in the annual Sea to Sea praise and worship music series. The album includes thirty songs performed by Canadian Christian artists on two CDs. The album won a Gospel Music Association Canada Covenant Award in 2006 for Special Events/Compilation Album of the Year. The Sea to Sea series is the brainchild of Covenant Award winning Executive Producer Martin Smith.
