Ali Mohamed Hufane (born 1960) is a long-distance runner who competed internationally for Somalia.
Hufane competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, he entered the 5000 metres but didn't finish the race, so he didn't advance to the next round. [1] He competed collegiately for Fairleigh Dickinson. [2] [3]

The country's participation in Rio marked its debut appearance in the quadrennial event, although it had competed in the Summer Olympics nine times since the 1972 Games. The delegation consisted of a single middle-distance runner, Farhan Adawe, who qualified for the Games by meeting qualification standards in March 2016. He was chosen as the flag bearer for the opening ceremony and came ninth overall in his event, the men's 100 metres (T52), which led to his elimination from the Paralympics.
