Faisalabad Cricket Team is one of the eight regional first-class cricket clubs, based in Faisalabad, Pakistan. Its limited overs team is called Interloop Wolves Faisalabad. Kit colours are White for first-class cricket matches and Green for one-day and 20/20 competitions. They lost their first-class status when they were relegated from the 2016–17 Pakistan Super League. In April 2017, they regained their first-class status after beating Multan and as a result played in the 2017–18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy tournament.

The Karachi Dolphins are a limited overs cricket team based in Karachi which plays in Pakistan's National One-day Championship and domestic Twenty20. The Dolphins' home ground is National Stadium in Karachi's north end. Their general manager is headed by Razziq Rabbani, while the team coach is Azam Khan. The Dolphins' team captain is Shahid Afridi. The Dolphins have yet to win the Faysal Bank T20 Cup championship. However, they have been runners-up on several occasions during the 2004/05, 2006/07, 2007/08, 2009/10, 2010/11, super 8 2011 and Super 8 2012 seasons.
Raza Hasan is a Pakistani first-class cricketer. He bowls left-arm orthodox spin and can also bowl the doosra which turns the other way. He was selected to play for the Pakistani national team in replacement of Danish Kaneria for the tour of England in 2010, along with another spinner, Saeed Ajmal. Along with Hasan, another change to the test squad was the addition of veteran Mohammad Yousuf, who retired earlier in the year. Asghar Ali Shah Stadium is a cricket ground in Karachi, Pakistan. It was constructed in the memory of Late. Justice Asghar Ali Shah, former Judge in Sindh High Court, father of a renowned orthopaedic surgeon, a politician and a member of Pakistan Cricket Board Dr. Syed Mohammad Ali Shah. Dr. Shah was also the manager of this stadium.
The 2012–13 Faysal Bank T20 Cup was the ninth season of the Faysal Bank T20 Cup in Pakistan, which was held form 1 to 9 December 2012. The winning team will receive Rs 20 million as prize money and while the runners-up will receive Rs 10 million. This was also the last tournament played and was replaced with the Pakistan Super League.
The 2009 RBS Twenty-20 Cup was the fifth edition of the RBS Twenty-20 Cup, a domestic Twenty20 tournament in Pakistan. It was held in Lahore from 25 to 29 May 2009. The Sialkot Stallions won their fourth overall and consecutive title by defeating the Lahore Lions in the final.
Abid Sher Ali (born 21 November 1971) is a Pakistani politician who served as Minister of State for Power, in the Abbasi cabinet from August 2017 to May 2018. Previously he served as the Minister of State for Water and Power from 2013 to 2017. He had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, from 2002 to May 2018.

The event was previously known as Karachi Champions League which hosted only 16 cricket clubs from the city in 2010.

The 2017–18 National T20 Cup was a Twenty20 domestic cricket competition that was played in Pakistan. It was the fourteenth season of the National Twenty20 Cup in Pakistan. It was originally scheduled to take place in August and September 2017 with eight teams competing. However, in August 2017, it was announced that the tournament would be postponed until November 2017 because of the 2017 Independence Cup and Pakistan's series against Sri Lanka. All the matches were originally scheduled to be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium and the Iqbal Stadium. Following the revised dates to the competition, all the fixtures took place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Chaudhry Raza Nasrullah Ghumman is a Pakistani politician who has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2018. Previously he was a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, from 2008 to May 2018.
Sardar Ahmad Chishti (1903–62) was a Pakistani Sufi saint, Islamic Jurist, author and debater recognized as by his followers as Muhaddis-e-Azam Pakistan. His Shrine is in Faisalabad.
