Alin Sandu Jivan (born December 2, 1983) is a Romanian artistic gymnast [1] whose best event is the vault. He is a world and a European medalist on this event. [2] [3]
Alexandra Georgiana Eremia is a Romanian former artistic gymnast. Her best apparatus was the balance beam on which she had an interesting routine starting with her trademark split mount. She is an Olympic and a European gold medalist with the team. Individually, she won several medals on beam in various international competitions. She is the 2004 Olympic bronze medalist and the 2004 European silver medalist on this event.
Ecaterina Szabo is a former Romanian artistic gymnast who won 20 Olympic, world and continental medals.
Cristina Elena Grigoraş is a retired Romanian artistic gymnast. She is a two-time Olympic medalist with the team. Individually, she won four medals at the 1981 European Championships. She is best known for a skill on the balance beam named after her: forward salto tucked with ½ twist (180°) take off from both legs.
Sonia Iovan-Inovan was a Romanian artistic gymnast who competed at the 1956, 1960, and 1964 Olympic Games. She was a double Olympic bronze medalist, a bronze world medalist and a multiple European medalist. Iovan died in France on 6 September 2024, at the age of 88.
