The Hives are a Swedish rock band formed in Fagersta in 1993. After gaining traction in Sweden through the 1990s,they rose to worldwide prominence in the early 2000s during the garage rock revival. The band's line-up—consisting of Howlin' Pelle Almqvist (vocals),Nicholaus Arson,Vigilante Carlstroem,Dr. Matt Destruction (bass),and Chris Dangerous (drums)—remained unchanged from 1993 until 2013,when Matt Destruction retired for health reasons and was replaced by The Johan and Only,the former Randy bassist.
Local H is an American rock band originally formed by guitarist and vocalist Scott Lucas,bassist Matt Garcia,drummer Joe Daniels,and lead guitarist John Sparkman in Zion,Illinois in 1990. The members all met in high school in 1987 and founded Local H three years later. After Sparkman's departure in 1991 and Garcia's departure in 1993,Local H continued as an unorthodox two-piece setup.

Blackout is the fourth studio album by Dropkick Murphys,released in 2003. A music video for "Walk Away",the album's first official single,was also released. The song went on to become a minor radio hit and received some minor airplay on MTV. "Fields of Athenry" was also released as a single. The album was released with a DVD,which contained live videos for "Rocky Road to Dublin" and "Boys on the Docks",a music video for "Gonna Be a Blackout Tonight",and a trailer for their then upcoming untitled full-length DVD,which became On the Road With the Dropkick Murphys and was released the following year in March 2004.
Killers is the second compilation album by American hard rock group Kiss. It was released only outside the US,but quickly became available as an import. Of the album's twelve songs,four were new compositions recorded specifically for it:"I'm a Legend Tonight," "Down on Your Knees," "Nowhere to Run" and "Partners in Crime." These new songs were recorded at the behest of Phonogram,in response to the commercial failure of 1981's Music from "The Elder".

The band had released three albums since the previous live outing,the 1975 release Alive!,so they drew upon the variety of new tracks,with Eddie Kramer producing. The album is one of the best selling in the Kiss discography,being the band's first to be certified double platinum in February 1996,the same month the Kiss reunion tour was announced. It has continued to sell in the US in the Soundscan era,selling over 300,000 copies from 1991 and to March 2012.
Chipmunk Punk is an album by the Chipmunks,as well as being the first album released by Ross Bagdasarian Jr.,after he took over the voices of the Chipmunks after the death of his father in 1972. Despite the title of the album,none of the songs listed are considered to be in the style of real punk rock music. It was released in June 1980. The album peaked at No. 34 on the Billboard 200. It was certified gold by the RIAA on October 14,1980,becoming the Chipmunks' first gold record. In 2005,it was re-released on CD,although the CD was only available through the official Chipmunks website. In Canada,the album reached No. 59.

The set includes several rare and unreleased songs alongside more obscure album tracks that showcase Petty's songwriting. The majority of the content is Heartbreakers material but there are also several solo songs and some recordings by Mudcrutch. Critical reception has been positive.
