The song was produced by the pop production duo Kyle James & Parker Ighile, who co-wrote the top line alongside Talay Riley. The song was officially released on 4 October 2009. "You and I" is a song by Danish electropop singer Medina. It was released in the United Kingdom on 21 September 2009 and in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on 3 May 2010. The song is an English version of the Danish song, "Kun for mig", released in late 2008 in Denmark, where it spent 52 weeks on the singles chart; six weeks at number one. Originally written by Medina, Jeppe Federspiel and Rasmus Stabell it was translated into English by Adam Powers and Julie Steincke, and released as Medina's debut single from her international studio album, Welcome to Medina.

The song was written by Arnthor Birgisson and Ina Wroldsen, and produced by Birgisson. It was released digitally on February 9, 2010. "Impossible" peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, number 33 in Canada, number nine in the United Kingdom and number five in Denmark.
"Dirty Picture" is a song by British R&B singer Taio Cruz, which features vocals from American singer Kesha and was released from his second studio album, Rokstarr (2009). The song was written and produced by Cruz alongside Fraser T. Smith, and later released as the album's third single on 5 April 2010. Originally, Cruz wanted the female vocals to be done by Lady Gaga but opted to switch to Kesha due to heavy influence by Dr. Luke and for finding her voice unique. The song was later re-recorded as an album bonus track for Kesha's debut album, Animal (2010), and dubbed the "Kesha edit" or "Dirty Picture Pt. 2". Lyrically, the song is about sending a dirty picture to a significant other whom you miss.
"Ridin' Solo" is a song by American singer Jason Derulo, released as the third single from his self-titled debut album and produced by J.R. Rotem. The demo originally sampled "Bitter Sweet Symphony" by the Verve, but the sample was not cleared and was subsequently replaced with electronic motifs, which are featured throughout the entire song.
"One Touch" is a song by English female pop duo Mini Viva, written and produced by Brian Higgins and his production team Xenomania. The song was released as Mini Viva's third and final single on 9 May 2010. Remixes from Wideboys, Christian TV and Tom Neville were also commissioned. The single failed to make the UK top 100.
"Candy" is the debut single by Brazilian-born British-based rapper Aggro Santos. The song was produced by Quiz & Larossi and co-written by Aggro Santos, Josef Larossi, Andreas Romdhane, Viktoria Hansen, while also featuring American singer Kimberly Wyatt of The Pussycat Dolls. It was released on 2 May 2010 as the lead single from Santos' debut studio album AggroSantos.com.
"The Boy Who Murdered Love" is a song by English singer and songwriter Diana Vickers from her debut studio album, Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree (2010). It was written by Vickers and the song's producer Chris Braide. The song was released as the album's second and final single as a digital download on 18 July 2010 with the CD single released the next day. A demo of the song has surfaced online after accidentally being uploaded to Vickers's Myspace page where it remains.
"We Dance On" is a song performed by British hip hop group N-Dubz, released as the group's eleventh overall single and the lead single from their third studio album, Love.Live.Life. The song was also the second single released from the soundtrack to the film StreetDance 3D. The song features English house music duo Bodyrox. The song was co-written and co-produced by the members of N-Dubz and Bodyrox. Additional vocals are provided by British recording artists Luciana and Nick Clow, both artists have also been credited as being involved in co-writing the song.
"Drummer Boy" is song by English singer-songwriter Alesha Dixon. It was released on 3 September 2010 as the lead single from her third studio album, The Entertainer. The first teasers for the song surfaced on Dixon's fansite in late July, and Dixon announced, via her various social networking sites, that the song would receive its radio play premiere on 23 July on BBC Radio 1 with Fearne Cotton. "Wonderful Life" is a song by British musical duo Hurts from their debut album, Happiness. It was released as their debut single in Denmark on 3 May 2010 and was released as their second single in the United Kingdom on 22 August 2010. "Wonderful Life" peaked at number 21 on the UK Singles Chart. Outside the United Kingdom, "Wonderful Life" topped the charts in Poland and peaked within the top ten of the charts in Austria, Denmark, Germany, Israel and Switzerland. It also charted in Belgium.

"Start Without You" is a song by British recording artist Alexandra Burke. Featuring vocals from Jamaican American reggae rapper Laza Morgan, it was written by Kristian Lundin, Ronan Dunne, Eddy Grant, Savan Kotecha, Julian Bunetta, and RedOne. The song is an R&B song, which incorporates reggae fusion and dancehall. According to Burke the song was inspired by her Jamaican heritage and her need for a summer song. The song came about after studio sessions booked with RedOne produced a number of new records that were going to be used for a re-release of Overcome or Burke's second album.
Happiness is the debut studio album by English musical duo Hurts. It was released on 27 August 2010 by RCA Records. It was preceded by the release of the singles "Better Than Love" on 23 May 2010 and "Wonderful Life" on 22 August 2010. Collaborators include Jonas Quant and production team The Nexus, as well as a duet with Australian singer Kylie Minogue on the song "Devotion". To promote the release of the album, the track "Happiness" was made available as a free download via Amazon.co.uk on 1 August 2010.

It was released on 26 December 2010, serving as the fourth official single from Tempah's debut album, Disc-Overy. The song was conceived by Tempah as a tribute to the music which Rowland used to release when she was part of Destiny's Child. Critics noted the song's production, which consists of brassy horns and a piano riff similar to David Guetta and Rowland's hit single "When Love Takes Over" (2009). An accompanying music video sees Tempah travelling through London reminiscing about his humble beginnings. Rowland appears as a projected image on the buildings.
"Sun of a Gun" is the major-label debut song recorded by Danish recording artist Oh Land. It is taken from her self-titled second studio album Oh Land (2011). It was released as the album's lead single on 4 October 2010 by Fake Diamond Records and Sony Music Entertainment. Elsewhere, the single was released on 24 April 2011 as a CD single and 7-inch single. A Europop and synth-pop song, its lyrics describe a troubled relationship by comparing its effects to the orbit of the Sun. The track was written by Jimmy Harry and Nanna Øland Fabricius, with Dave McCracken solely producing it.
