All Out & Down is the third studio album collaboration by Chris Brokaw and Geoff Farina as a duo. The album was recorded by Matthew Brown at Crackle and Pop in Seattle, WA, in 2014, with additional recording and mixing by Geoff Farina at Hev-e-Kreem, Chicago, IL, and was mastered for vinyl by Neil Strauch. It was released on Landland ≠ Record Label in the US on June 10, 2016.
The album is a collection of blues and folk covers and it differs from the duo's previous release in that it includes no original compositions. The album's songs include Mick Jagger and Keith Richard's No Expectations, from The Rolling Stones' 1968 album Beggars Banquet, Jeffrey Lee Pierce's Mother of Earth, originally recorded by The Gun Club for their 1982 album Miami, as well as a number of pre-WWII North American folk, Delta blues, and ragtime classics by the likes of Woody Guthrie, Harold Dixon, Alvin Pleasant Delaney "A.P." Carter, and William "Hambone Willie" Newbern.
All Out & Down is Brokaw's first album since 2015's The Periscope Twins and Farina's first since Exit Verse's 2016 album Grant No Glory.

The Wind is the twelfth and final studio album by American singer-songwriter Warren Zevon. The album was released on August 26, 2003, by Artemis Records. Zevon began recording the album shortly after he was diagnosed with inoperable pleural mesothelioma, and it was released just two weeks before his death on September 7, 2003. The album was awarded the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album. "Disorder in the House", performed by Zevon and Bruce Springsteen, won Best Rock Vocal Performance. Songs from the album were nominated for an additional three Grammys.
Karate was an American band, formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1993 by Geoff Farina, Eamonn Vitt and Gavin McCarthy. In 1995, Jeff Goddard joined the band as bass player, and Vitt moved to second guitar. Vitt departed Karate to pursue a medical career in 1997.
Chris Brokaw is an American musician, mostly known for his work with the bands Come and Codeine, in addition to his many collaborations and original soundtracks. His outlier, underground status, in addition to his constant touring, abundant collaborative projects, and prolific musical output, have resulted in Brokaw being repeatedly described as 'one of the hardest-working musicians in anti-show-business.'

Privateering is the seventh solo studio album by British singer-songwriter and guitarist Mark Knopfler, released on 3 September 2012 by Mercury Records. Eyes Wide Open is the debut studio album by American singer Sabrina Carpenter. It was released by Hollywood Records on April 14, 2015. Carpenter began planning the project in 2014, after she launched her debut EP Can't Blame a Girl for Trying, she wanted to make a full-length LP. All the tracks on that EP were included on the album. The majority of the album was recorded in 2014, but she recorded since 2013 until 2015.
