The All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) is an association for Textile industry in Pakistan. APTMA represents over 400 textile mills in Pakistan. [2]

Contents

The textile industry is Pakistan's largest industry and textile is the most important export of Pakistan. [3] Mian Muhammad Mansha, a business tycoon and one of the richest man in Pakistan, [4] is the most famous personality in this industry.

Pakistan is the 5th largest producer of cotton in the world and the 8th largest exporter of textile products in Asia. [5] [6]

History

APTPMA was registered with Federal Ministry of Commerce on July 5, 1990, under the Trade Organizations Ordinance 1961 and also registered under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984. In July 1991, Association started operations with its headquarters at Faisalabad. APTPMA is affiliated with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI). [1]

Shahzada Alam Monnoo was a Pakistani industrialist and politician. He served in the Federal cabinet as Minister of Commerce and Textile Industry, Privatization and Investment between 15 November 2007 and 25 March 2008. He died on 18 November 2014.

The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) was established in 1984 and incorporated under the Companies Act VII of 1913 on 26 August 1984 as a Limited Company by Guarantee. Its registered office is in Islamabad and its jurisdiction spreads over the entire Federal Capital Area (urban and rural). As per the new Trade Ordinance and Rule 2007, ICCI got a new license in April 2007

Islami Jamiat-e-Talabaabbr.IJT is the largest student organization in Pakistan. It was founded by 25 students on 23 December 1947 at Lahore, Pakistan. Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba is working in Pakistan to eliminate the non-Islamic elements and secularism from the curriculum and teachings of the educational institutions of Pakistan. It is a member of the International Islamic Federation of Student Organizations and the World Assembly of Muslim Youth.

Mein Sitara is a 2016 Pakistani television series that aired on TV One. The series was written by Faiza Iftikhar, directed by Seema Tahir Khan, and produced by TV One Productions. Maqbool Habib H. Rahimtoola is a businessman and politician based out of Karachi, Pakistan. He served as Minister for Textiles and Commerce in the Khoso caretaker ministry in 2013. He also remained Provincial Minister in the Caretaker Government of Sindh during 1996–97.

<i>Bulbulay</i> (season 2) Pakistani Sitcom

Bulbulay 2 is a 2019 Pakistani Sitcom which is about an unconventional family. It is a successor to the first Bulbulay. The show airs on ARY Digital in Pakistan, every saturday. The show is produced by Nabeel and written by Saba Hassan. The show was directed by Rana Rizwan before he was replaced by Nabeel. It started airing from 4 June 2019. Its 24th and 23rd episode have the highest and second highest ever ratings of any sitcom.

Dikhawa is a Pakistani anthology series that premiered on 25 April 2020, on Geo Entertainment. It was created by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under 7th Sky Entertainment. Being the spin-off to the anthology series Makafaat, it features different short episodic stories focusing on religious and social repercussions of showing off, pretentiousness, and posturing.

Mere Ban Jao is a Pakistani drama television series directed by Ahmed Kamran, written by Samira Fazal and produced by Momina Duraid under the banners of Moomal Entertainment and MD Productions. It stars Zahid Ahmed, Kinza Hashmi and Azfar Rehman in leading roles. The series talks about the negative impact of social media including cyberbullying by the leakage of one's private photos and videos.
