The Psychedelic Furs are an English rock band founded in London in February 1977. Led by lead vocalist Richard Butler and his brother Tim Butler on bass guitar, the Psychedelic Furs are one of the many acts spawned from the British post-punk scene. Their music went through several phases, from an initially austere art rock sound to later touching on new wave and hard rock.

Formed in Austin, Texas, in 1998, the band takes its name from a short story by Russian author Tatyana Tolstaya set on the river Okkervil in Saint Petersburg. They began as a trio made up of Sheff and friends he had met in his native state of New Hampshire but, over time, have gone through many lineups.

The Promise Ring was an American rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that is recognized as part of the second wave of emo. Among various other EPs and singles, the band released four studio albums during their initial run: 30° Everywhere (1996), Nothing Feels Good (1997), Very Emergency (1999), and Wood/Water (2002). Their first two albums solidified their place among the emo scene; their third effort shifted toward pop music, while their final record was much more experimental in nature. The band initially broke up in 2002 and has reunited sporadically since then to perform live, but no new material from the band has since been released. They were last active for a live performance in 2016.

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, sometimes referred to as POTR, is an American country rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2008 by Lukas Nelson and Anthony LoGerfo (drums). The band has released eight studio albums and two live albums as well as numerous singles and extended plays (EP). From 2015 to 2019, Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real were the backing band for Canadian musician Neil Young. With Young, the band recorded two studio albums, The Monsanto Years (2015) and The Visitor (2017), a soundtrack album, Paradox (2018), and two live albums, Earth (2016) and Noise & Flowers (2022). The band has toured extensively performing hundreds of shows to date. In addition to headlining their own events, they have also performed as the opening act for other performers including The Rolling Stones [1]and The Who.[2] Over the past decade, they have appeared at a variety of music festivals including Stagecoach Festival, Glastonbury Festival, Byron Bay Blues Fest, Lollapalooza, and Farm Aid.

The band members when the record was released were James Phillips, Bryan Rahija, Daniel Michalak and Stuart Robinson. The album contains fifteen songs. It was re-released in 2014.
