Alleanza Nazzjonali Republikana (ANR) (National Republican Alliance) was a Maltese pressure group formed in 2005 with Martin Degiorgio, Philip Beattie and Paul Salomone as its spokespersons.
It had been described as "far-right" and was thought to have connections with the political party Imperium Europa. However, the Alliance disclaimed any such connections , describing itself as "a conservative, Christian-inspired, nationalist political pressure group" .
The Alliance organised two demonstrations against illegal immigration in Valletta in 2005 and 2006. It faded with the creation of the National Action party in 2007.
National Alliance was a national conservative political party in Italy. It was the successor of the Italian Social Movement (MSI), a neo-fascist party founded in 1946 by former followers of Benito Mussolini that had moderated its policies over its last decades and finally distanced itself from its former ideology, a move known as post-fascismo, during a convention in Fiuggi by dissolving into the new party in 1995.
The Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) is a unionist political party in Northern Ireland. The party was founded as the Ulster Unionist Council in 1905, emerging from the Irish Unionist Alliance in Ulster. Under Edward Carson, it led unionist opposition to the Irish Home Rule movement. Following the partition of Ireland, it was the governing party of Northern Ireland between 1921 and 1972. Cannabis Law Reform (CLEAR), formerly the Legalise Cannabis Alliance, is a United Kingdom lobby group which campaigns to end the prohibition of cannabis. The group was founded in 1997 and reformed as CLEAR in 2011. It campaigned in a number of elections until it was statutorily de-registered by the Electoral Commission in November 2013.
