The Alliance International University (AIU) was an internationally accredited University from 2005 until April 2018. The Higher Education Authority (HEA) deregistered the university following a failed second audit in February 2018. An unaccredited university in the Caribbean, [1] is now operating under the same name as AIU, which formerly operated from Lusaka, Zambia. This new entity has been described as "an online scam" by Undark Magazine . [2] It has no physical campus and all its activities take place online. [3]

It was de-registered by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) in April 2018 for offering substandard education. [4] [5] [6]

Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury is a self-proclaimed doctor known for peddling medical conspiracy theories, including denialist conspiracies about COVID-19, HIV/AIDS, and diabetes, for which he has been heavily criticized. His multiple YouTube and social media accounts have been terminated for spreading misleading health advice.

Atlantic Technological University Technological university in the west and north of Ireland

Atlantic Technological University is a technological university in the west and north-west of Ireland. It was formally established on 1 April 2021 as a merger of three regional institutes of technology (ITs) - Galway-Mayo IT, IT Sligo, and Letterkenny IT - into a single technological university, the fourth such TU in Ireland.
