Allison LeClaire (born February 13, 1996) is an American former professional basketball player currently serving as an assistant coach for the Eastern Illinois Panthers women's basketball team. LeClaire attended Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and played college basketball for the University of Wisconsin—Green Bay. LeClaire went on to play professionally overseas for the Liffey Celtics of the Irish Women's Super League and Young Angels Košice of the Slovak Women's Basketball Extraliga before returning to the United States to coach.

Early life and high school career

LeClaire was born in 1996 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. [1] She attended Notre Dame Academy, where her teams won back-to-back Division II state basketball titles in 2013 and 2014. LeClaire was a heavily lauded high school player, earning multiple All-State and player of the year awards. She graduated as Notre Dame's all-time leading scorer. [2]

College career

LeClaire committed to the University of Wisconsin—Green Bay and did not redshirt for her freshman season, averaging 20.1 minutes per game and leading the team in three-point shooting percentage. In her sophomore season, LeClaire led the team in scoring with 12.5 points per game, and finished her collegiate career two years later earning Horizon League Player of the Week honors for the week of January 8, 2018. LeClaire was also named All-Horizon League Second Team that season and was the Horizon League Tournament MVP. LeClaire is seventh on Green Bay's all-time scoring list with 1,489 points, and never missed a game in her collegiate career. [2]

Professional career

In July 2018, LeClaire signed a contract with the Liffey Celtics of the Irish Women's Super League, where she averaged 19.4 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game, 2.9 assists per game, and 1.8 steals per game. LeClaire won the Irish National Cup with Liffey, and was named the league's player of the year. [1] Over the summer of 2019, LeClaire joined former teammates Jessica Lindstrom and Mehryn Kraker on the Wisconsin GLO of the Global Women's Basketball Association, where they won the league's inaugural championship. [3] After the GLO's summer season, she signed a short-term contract with Young Angels Košice of the Slovak Women's Basketball Extraliga, where she was named Import Player of the Year as well as guard of the year. Coaching career

LeClaire opted not to sign an extension with Young Angels, and returned to the United States in March 2020, feeling that her career as a player was at an end. [4] LeClaire served as coach for the Wisconsin Legends AAU team before her hiring at St. Norbert College in April 2020, replacing outgoing assistant coach Sam Terry. [5]

Niele Deirdre Jamillah Viveca Ivey is an American college basketball coach and the current head coach for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's basketball team. She is a former Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) player for the Indiana Fever, Detroit Shock, and Phoenix Mercury. Prior to her move to the NBA in August 2019, she was an assistant coach for the University of Notre Dame women's basketball team, where she had played in college. She was an All-American point guard and became the 17th player in school history to record over 1,000 career points. She received the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award presented for the nation's top player under 5'8" in 2001. She would go on to lead the Irish women to their first NCAA Championship in 2001, in her hometown of St. Louis as a fifth-year senior.

Megan Lukan is a Canadian multi-sport athlete. Lukan switched to rugby from basketball after graduating in May 2015 from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, where she was a four-year starting guard for the Green Bay women's Division l basketball team. During her UWGB basketball career, Lukan set a number of records included most career assists since the team became a member of the NCAA's Division I and most minutes played during a career. Lukan is a Canadian rugby union player, who was named to Canada's first ever women's rugby sevens Olympic team at the 2016 Summer Olympics. In 2018, she was selected by the Canadian Olympic Committee and was sponsored to attend Smith School of Business MBA program at Queen's University. Lukan's younger sister Kaili Lukan also played basketball at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and is a current member of the Canada women's national rugby sevens team.

The 2017–18 Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Phoenix, led by head coach Kevin Borseth, in the sixth year of his current stint and 15th year overall at Green Bay, played their home games at the Kress Events Center and were members of the Horizon League. It was the 39th season of Green Bay women's basketball. They finished the season 29–4, 16–2 in Horizon play to win the Horizon League regular and tournament titles to earn an automatic to the NCAA women's tournament. They lost to Minnesota in the first round.

Sundance "Sunny" Wicks is an American collegiate basketball coach, currently men's head coach at the University of Wyoming. He has also been the head coach for Green Bay, an assistant at Wyoming, and two years as the head coach for the Missouri Western Men's Basketball Team. Wicks spent eleven years as an assistant at four different colleges, including Northern State, Colorado, Northern Illinois, and San Francisco. Between early coaching stints, Wicks launched the Arizona Power Basketball Academy and worked as a skill-instructor and director from 2011 to 2015. He has trained notable NBA pre-draft prospects at the Impact Basketball Academy in Las Vegas, and worked with athletes such as Kawhi Leonard, Marvin Bagley, Isaiah Thomas, Xavier Silas, and Alec Burks.
