Deborah Cox is a Canadian singer, songwriter, actress, and record producer. Born and raised in Toronto, she began performing on television commercials at age 12, and entered various talent shows in her teenage years before becoming a professional backing vocalist for Celine Dion. In 1994, Cox relocated to the United States and was signed to Arista Records by Clive Davis, releasing her self-titled debut album the following year. Her second studio album, One Wish (1998), was certified platinum in the United States. It was marked by the commercial success of the pop crossover single "Nobody's Supposed to Be Here", which would become her most successful entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at number two and remaining there for eight consecutive weeks. Cox signed with J Records for her third studio album The Morning After (2002), which saw moderate commercial success.

David Myles is a Canadian songwriter and musician born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Myles lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick, as of September 2020, moving from Halifax, Nova Scotia. His music has often been labeled folk jazz, although he prefers simply to call it "roots" music. An independent artist who self-releases his albums, Myles has been able to gain an increasingly large audience, in part because of his active touring schedule and in part because of his cross-genre musical collaborations, which include a single made with the rapper Classified that became the biggest-selling rap single in the history of Canadian music.

Kirk MacDonald is a Canadian jazz musician and composer. He has been nominated for four Juno Awards, with his album The Atlantic Sessions winning the 1999 Juno Award for Best Mainstream Jazz Album.

Doxas has released a number of albums as a leader and has received accolades for his work as a performer, composer and arranger. His work can be heard on over one hundred recordings.

Bill Coon is a Canadian jazz and composer. He is a Juno nominated artist and the winner of the 2009 National Jazz Awards, ‘Guitarist of the Year’. He is known for performing artists such as Miles Black and Jodi Proznick, Lonnie Smith, Brad Turner, Peter Bernstein, Bucky Pizzarelli, Ian McDougall, P. J. Perry, Sheila Jordan, Phil Dwyer, Peter Washington, and Oliver Gannon. His compositions and arrangements have been commissioned by large ensembles such as the CBC Radio Orchestra, John Korsrud's Hard Rubber Orchestra, and the Dal Richards Orchestra. He graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Jazz Studies in 1988, and a Masters of Education from Simon Fraser University in 2012.

Jocelyn Gould is a Canadian jazz guitarist. Her album, Elegant Traveler was awarded the 2021 Juno Award for Jazz Album of the Year - Solo. She is also the 1st place winner of the 2018 Wilson Centre International Jazz Guitar competition.
Christine Jensen is a composer, conductor, and saxophonist based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She was awarded the Juno Award for Contemporary Jazz Album of the Year for her albums Treelines (2011) and Habitat (2014). She is the sister of trumpeter Ingrid Jensen.
