Allo Darlin' are an indie pop band based in London. [1] Their self-titled debut album was released on the Fortuna Pop! label in 2010, with a second album, Europe, appearing in 2012. [2] A third album, We Come from the Same Place , was released in autumn 2014.
Allo Darlin' was started as a solo project by Australian singer and songwriter Elizabeth Morris whilst living in London, England. The band name came from her time working in Soho. "I used to work near the market sellers," she said. "Every day I'd walk past and the old guys would yell out "Allo darlin'" as they ashed into their fruit bowls." [2]
In early 2009, a full band lineup of Allo Darlin' formed with guitarist Paul Rains, drummer Michael Collins and bassist Bill Botting. They released their first single, "Henry Rollins Don't Dance", on WeePOP! Records that summer. [2]
That year Fortuna Pop! signed the band, and they released two singles, "The Polaroid Song" (2009) and "Dreaming" (2010), before the band's self-titled debut full-length, produced by Simon Trought, was released by the label in the summer of 2010. [2]
In 2011 Allo Darlin' self-released the "Darren"/"The Wu-Tang Clan" single. The band returned with new album Europe in spring of 2012, released again by Fortuna Pop in the UK and this time by Slumberland in the US. [2]
They spent the next year touring before heading back into the studio to record their third album. We Come from the Same Place was released in October 2014. [2] The band went their separate ways at the end of 2016. [3]
In January 2023, the band announced on social media that they were reuniting for a series of gigs in England, their first in six years, with the intention of recording new music together. [4]
Wu-Tang Clan is an American hip hop musical collective formed in Staten Island, New York City, in 1992. Its members include RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and, until his death in 2004, Ol' Dirty Bastard. Close affiliate Cappadonna later became an official member. They are credited for revitalizing East Coast hip hop and are considered one of the greatest hip hop groups of all time.
Dennis David Coles, better known by his stage name Ghostface Killah, is an American rapper and a member of the hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan. After the group achieved breakthrough success in the aftermath of Enter the Wu-Tang , the members went on to pursue solo careers to varying levels of success. Ghostface Killah debuted his solo career with Ironman, which was well-received by music critics, in 1996. He has enjoyed continued success in the years that have followed, releasing critically acclaimed albums such as Supreme Clientele (2000) and Fishscale (2006). His stage name was taken from one of the characters in the 1979 kung fu film The Mystery of Chess Boxing. He is the founder of his own record label, Starks Enterprises.
Enter the Wu-Tang is the debut studio album by the American hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan, released on November 9, 1993, by Loud Records and RCA Records. Recording sessions took place during late 1992 to early 1993 at Firehouse Studio in New York City, and the album was produced by the group's de facto leader RZA. Its title originates from the martial arts films Enter the Dragon (1973) and The 36th Chamber of Shaolin (1978).
The Aislers Set is an American indie pop band that formed in San Francisco in 1997, after the breakup of chief songwriter Linton's former band Henry's Dress. The Aislers Set's music is often interpreted as adjacent to C86-style British indie pop but the band's style transcends genres. The founding members were A V Linton, Wyatt Cusick, Alicia Vanden Heuvel,, Yoshi Nakamoto (drums), and Jen Cohen (organ). The band was primarily active from 1998 to 2003, touring the U.S., Europe, and Japan, releasing three self-recorded albums, numerous singles and even recording a Peel Session in 2001.
Darren Hayman is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is best known as the writer, lead singer, and guitarist in Hefner. Since Hefner disbanded in 2002, Hayman has embarked on a prolific solo career releasing twelve albums under his own name and appearing on albums by Papernut Cambridge, Rotifer and The Great Electric. He has regularly worked with The Wave Pictures, producing an album for them, directing three of their music videos and briefly employing them as his backing band. In January 2011 Hayman recorded and released a song every day in the month of January, working with many collaborators. Hayman also paints and has exhibited his work at exhibitions about animals in space and racing dogs.

In the band's final iteration, Berman was joined in concert by Christoph Hochheim (guitar), Jen Goma, Jacob Sloan (bass), and Anton Hochheim (drums). Former members and contributors include Peggy Wang, Connor Hanwick, Kurt Feldman and Alex Naidus.

Wu-Tang Forever is the second studio album by the American hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan, released June 3, 1997, by Loud and RCA Records in the United States. Pressed as a double album, it was released after a long run of successful solo projects from various members of the group, and serves as the follow-up to their debut album Enter the Wu-Tang . Forever features several guest appearances from Wu-Tang affiliates Cappadonna, Streetlife, 4th Disciple, True Master, and Tekitha. The original run of compact discs featured an enhanced CD which allowed users to walk around the "Wu Mansion" and access additional content.
