AllttA is a French-American electronic hip hop duo formed in 2015, consisting of producer 20syl and American rapper Mr. J. Medeiros. The duo's music blends electronic beats with elements of hip hop, exploring various themes and styles.

Career

The Upper Hand & Facing Giants

In 2016, AllttA released their debut album The Upper Hand, which they performed at the Vieilles Charrues and Solidays festivals. The following year, they released the Facing Giants single series, releasing nine tracks, including the standout "Muggsy Bogues".[ citation needed ]

The 2017 music video for "Muggsy Bogues," part of the Facing Giants series, featured a documentary-style approach exploring the experiences of young people with hearing impairments. The technology used in the video allowed viewers to feel vibrations from the music. It received praise for its unique portrayal of the hearing-impaired community. [1] [2]

"Savages" single

In 2019, AllttA released "Savages," which used artificial intelligence (AI) to recreate the vocal style of rapper Jay-Z. The track raised ethical questions about AI in music. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10]

Curio Parts 1 & 2

In 2023, AllttA released Curio Parts 1 & 2, an album series accompanied by a limited edition embossed vinyl. The duo also headlined at Paris's Élysée Montmartre in the same year. [11]

AllttA frequently collaborates with tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee, whose videos often feature the duo's music. [9]

The group reformed in 2012, funding a new recording via Indiegogo. The resulting self-titled album was released on September 24, 2013.

"Clique" is a song by American rappers Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Big Sean from West's record label GOOD Music's debut compilation album, Cruel Summer (2012). The song features additional vocals from Cocaine 80s, Aude Cardona, and Travis Jones. It was produced by Hit-Boy, while co-produced by West, and additional production was handled by Anthony Kilhoffer alongside Noah Goldstein. Numerous rappers recorded verses for the song, yet only West, Jay-Z, and Big Sean made the final cut. Gandhi Alimasi Djuna, known professionally as Maître Gims and more recently just Gims, is a French-Congolese singer, rapper, producer, and songwriter. He grew up in France and currently lives in France and Morocco. He is a member of the hip hop group Sexion d'Assaut. He pursued an individual career under the name Maître Gims in 2013. He previously released an extended play in 2006, titled Ceux qui dorment les yeux ouverts. During his career he has worked with several international artists such as Sia, Pitbull, Lil Wayne, Stromae, Maluma, Sting, and others. He has sold over 5 million records, including 3 million albums since the start of his career. He started his solo career in 2013 with the release of his first album, Subliminal in May on Wati B and Monstre Marin Corporation, which sold over a million copies and peaked at number two in the French album charts. In December he released a reissue titled Subliminal la face cachée. The album contained songs such as "J'me tire", "Bella" and "Zombie". From its first week of operation, the album certified platinum and would end up being double diamond disc for over 1 million in sales. <i>Le fléau</i> 2020 studio album by Gims

Le fléau is the fourth studio album by Congolese-French singer and rapper Gims, released on 4 December 2020 on the TF1 Group and Play Two labels. A reissue entitled Les vestiges du fléau was published on 28 May 2021. A second reissue titled L'Empire de Méroé was released on 3 December 2021.
