Almighty Dreadnaughtz is an American underground hip hop collective from Michigan, USA, founded in 1986 by Detroit-based rapper and producer Theron 'Alius Pnukkl' Ewing. [1]

History

The group was formed in 1986 by its first member Alius Pnukkl, and cited as a notable act of Detroit underground hip hop scene before Slum Village, The Dirty Dozen and Goon Sqwad. Participants of the crew were taking part in rap battles. The Almighty Dreadnaughtz are recognized among Eminem fan base due to a track "Desperados" by DJ Butter, which also features now-deceased D12 emcees Bugz and Proof. As well as Wu-Tang Clan, the group consists of a number of permanent members, as well as temporary members and / or its affiliates:

In January 2024, Supa Emcee was arrested in Detroit on charges of murdering his wife. [8] [9]

Solo actings

Guilty Simpson who joined the group in 1996 has reached the most successful individual career signing with Stones Throw Records; and also teamed up with Black Milk and Sean Price for Random Axe band, which was manager by Hexmurda. Hex and Supa Emcee [10] (joined A.D. in 1994) were signees for Proof's Iron Fist Records, the label that stated the crew as honorable participants, along with the Fat Killahz. Alius, Slautah [11] and Konphlict formed several duo projects between them, such as A.R.E.S. [12] and released few studio albums. All the Almighty Dreadnaughtz members had appeared separately or together partially delivering rapping or production in many fellow Michigan underground hip hop acts, such as Miz Korona, Moe Dirdee, King Gordy, Fatt Father, DJ Los and more.

Lawless Element is an underground hip hop duo from Detroit, Michigan. The duo is composed of cousins Griot as emcee and Magnif as DJ, producer and emcee. The duo of Magnif and Griot became engulfed in hip hop culture at the ages of 6 and 9, and spent their teenage years honing their skills on the production boards and on the microphone. At the ages of 16 and 19, the duo released their first single, titled "Mic Check", in 2003 on Running Man Records. The next year, the duo hooked up with fellow Detroit native, producer J Dilla, to release the single "The Shining". In early 2005, LE worked with Dilla's Jaylib partner Madlib on the single "High", which landed them a deal with popular independent rap label Babygrande Records. Their debut album, Soundvision: In Stereo, was released in September 2005 to generally positive reviews. Soundvision featured production from Magnif, J Dilla and Madlib and guest appearances from Dilla, Melanie Rutherford, Phat Kat, Big Tone, P.Dot, SelfSays and Diverse. "Rules Pt. 2" was the album's lead single, and also became the duo's first music video. URB magazine gave the album 4 out of 5 stars and stated that it was "Heavily influenced by the golden age of De La Soul, Pete Rock and DJ Premier" and that it featured "12 top-shelf tracks" The album also earned the duo Featured Artist status on the Okayplayer website. Magnif has continued production work for a number of other underground acts, and released a mixtape titled SupaBeatMaker in late 2005. The duo has announced plans for their second album, tentatively titled Evil, scheduled for released in 2008 on Babygrande Records. Magnif is also planning the release of a full-length production and solo album.

Nicholas Marcell Speed is an American rapper, record producer, and disc jockey from Detroit, Michigan, United States. He has produced tracks for 50 Cent, Mopreme Shakur, Lloyd Banks, M.O.P., Talib Kweli, Phat Kat, Musiq Soulchild, Bishop Lamont, Danny Brown and many more.

Freddie Beauregard, professionally known by his stage name Paradime, is an American rapper and producer from Detroit, Michigan.

Tavares Lamont Taylor, known professionally as Lil Reese, is an American rapper. Hailing from Chicago's drill scene in the early 2010s, he is known for his collaborations with fellow rappers Chief Keef, Fredo Santana, and Lil Durk. In 2012, Taylor was featured on Chief Keef's single "I Don't Like", which peaked at number 73 on the Billboard Hot 100, peaked at number 20 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and peaked at number 15 on the Hot Rap Songs chart. His debut mixtape, ‘Don't Like’ was released later that year. Since the first mixtape release, Taylor has gone on to release six mixtapes in total, including the 2013 ‘Supa Savage’ mixtape, as well as three EPs, including the 2017 collaborative project ‘Supa Vultures’ EP with Lil Durk.
