Altenbochum is a statistical area and a district of the city of Bochum in the Ruhr area in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. Altenbochum is East of the central business district. Altenbochum lies between Gleisdreieck and Laer. Altenbochum is connected to Gelsenkirchen, the district Langendreer, central Witten and Heven (district of Witten) by tram. Tram lines 302 and 310 and several bus lines stop here.

Herbede has good bus connections and is served by bus lines 320, 374, 375, SB38, SB67 and at the weekend by night bus NE17. There are direct bus connections to central Witten, Witten-Annen, Witten-Rüdinghausen, Witten-Heven, Ruhr University Bochum, Wetter, Gevelsberg, Ennepetal, Hattingen and Wuppertal.

Höntrop borders inter alia to Freisenbruch, which belongs to Essen, another city, and Linden a district of Bochum. Höntrop belongs to the Stadtbezirk of Wattenscheid. Höntrop is a stop at the railway line S1 to Solingen via Düsseldorf and furthermore also to Dortmund and is starting- and endpoint of the tram line 310 to Heven, a part of Witten via the city of Bochum and Bochum main station.

Niavaran Park is a public park in north Tehran at Shahid Bahonar Street. It is located within the Niavaran district and is situated immediately south of the Niavaran Palace Complex. The park was established in 1969 by the order of the Late Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. The area of Niavaran Park is 62,000 square meters. The park's extensive fountains take up 3320 square meters, and green space includes 8000 square meters of flowers, 20,000 square meters of lawn.

Before the incorporation with Witten in 1929, Annen was part of the administrative district Landkreis Hoerde. Today, Annen has about 19,000 inhabitants and is the biggest of all boroughs of Witten. Witten-Annen has an institute for Waldorf pedagogics, as well as a Waldorf school. This school annually hosts the international eurythmy festival, Forum Eurythmie. It is served by Witten-Annen Nord station on Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn line S 5 and three bus lines. At the weekend it is also served by night bus line NE 18.
Heerdt is one of the older quarters of the city of Düsseldorf, part of Borough 4. Heerdt and its neighbouring quarters Oberkassel, Niederkassel and Lörick lie on the left side of the river Rhine, opposite to the other districts of Düsseldorf and the central district.
