Amager Badminton Club (Amager BC or ABC) was a badminton club in Amager in Copenhagen, Denmark. It won the Danish Badminton League in 1957. The club had to close down in 2018 due to financial difficulties. Most players moved to the nearby club Amager BC37.

Founded in 1908, the club was a part of Danish second-tier football through the 1930s, had a spell in the top-flight War Tournaments during World War II, before experiencing a revival in the 1980s and 1990s, entering the third-tier Danish 2nd Division.

Sundby Idrætspark is a sports complex, that consists of a combined association football and athletics stadium, located in the district of Amager Vest, Copenhagen. It has been the home ground of the association football clubs BK Fremad Amager and B 1908 since its auguration in September 1922, and have previously hosted BK Standard (1923–1946) and the professional superstructure FC Amager (2008–2009). As of May 2019, the total capacity of approximately 7,200 spectators, with 2,500 seatings at the main grand stand stretching along one side of the pitch, makes the exhibition field among the 25th largest football stadiums in Denmark. The track of the exhibition venue has consisted of artificial turf since August 2018, where it replaced natural grass. In 2018, floodlights of 1,000 lux were installed at the exhibition field, so it was possible to show televised matches from the Danish Superliga.

Benny Johansen is a Danish former football player and manager. He won the Danish championship twice as a player for B 1903 and once as a manager of FC Copenhagen. He played one game for the Denmark national under-21 football team in 1972.

Kastrup Boldklub is a Danish association football club based in the suburb of Kastrup on Amager. As of the 2017/18-season, the club's first senior men's team play in Denmark Series. The club was founded on 4 May 1933 as Boldklubben Funkis and changed to the current name in 1941. The senior men's football team have since 1985 primarily played their home games at Kastrup Idrætsanlæg located at Røllikevej, Kastrup next to the club house, but have previously played their matches at Tårnby Stadium during their tenure in the higher ranking leagues, and occasionally still do. Kastrup Boldklub has spent a total of 9 seasons in the highest football league in Denmark, the last in 1987. Their best result was set in the 1979 season, when the first team finished in fourth place in the top league and thus qualified for the 1980 Intertoto Cup. The club has participated in two elite superstructures, Amager United (2002–2006) and FC Amager (2008–2009) and enjoy long-standing rivalries against neighbouring clubs BK Fremad Amager and AB Tårnby. Amager Boldspil-Union, shortened to ABU, was a subregional governing body for men's association football on the island of Amager, Denmark. The Amager Football Association governed the league and cup tournaments for the official championship of Amager, known as ABUs Amager-Turnering and ABUs Pokalturnering since its inception in March 1912. In 1916, the association's clubs formed the regional Københavns Forstadsklubbers Boldspil-Union (KFBU). Representative teams, either composed of individual clubs and a selection of players from several teams, referred to as Amager, competed in KFBU tournaments or in exhibition matches against other representative teams and clubs. The subregional football association published a member's magazine known as Unionsbladet, which evolved into the KFBU magazine known as Fodboldbladet.
