Amar Arshi is a Punjabi singer. He was born in Phagwara, Punjab, India as Amarjit Singh. [1] Currently, he is based out of London. His first album was released in 1991. His songs include "Aaja Ni Aaja", " Kaala Chasma" [2] and "Rangli Kothi". [3] "Kala Chashma" was remixed for a Bollywood movie Baar Baar Dekho (2016). [4]

Amar Singh Chamkila was an Indian singer and musician of Punjabi music. Chamkila's vivid language, high-pitched vocals, and novel compositions accompanied by tumbi made him popular. His music was influenced by the Punjabi village life in which he grew up. On 8 March 1988, at the height of his popularity, Chamkila and his second wife Amarjot were killed along with two members of their band in an assassination which remains unsolved.

Surinder Pal Dhammi, better known as Surinder Shinda, was an Indian singer of Punjabi music who is considered a "grandfather of MOC ", and has been described as "legendary". Neha Kakkar Singh is an Indian playback singer. She is the younger sister of playback singers Tony Kakkar and Sonu Kakkar. She began performing at a very early age at religious events. In 2005, she participated in the second season of the singing reality show, Indian Idol. She made her Bollywood debut as a chorus singer in the film Meerabai Not Out. She rose to prominence with the release of the dance track "Second Hand Jawaani" from Cocktail (2012), which was followed by several popular party songs, including "Sunny Sunny" from Yaariyan and "London Thumakda" from the 2014 soundtrack album Queen. Sardool Sikander was an Indian singer associated with Punjabi-language folk and pop music, who made his first appearances on radio and television in the early 1980s with his introductory album, "Roadways Di Laari". He also acted in some Punjabi language films, like Jagga Daku. Sardool's father, the late Sagar Mastana, was a famous tabla player who invented a special type of tabla that was played with a thin bamboo stick. Sardool was married to Amar Noorie, a well-known singer and actress herself and has two sons, Alaap Sikander and Sarang Sikander. Both sons are pursuing music and are set to put out their creations in the near future.

Baar Baar Dekho is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language science-fiction romantic drama film directed by Nitya Mehra which marks her debut in Hindi cinema. It is produced by Karan Johar and Farhan Akhtar under Dharma Productions and Excel Entertainment respectively. The film stars Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra with Ram Kapoor and Sarika playing supporting roles.
