Ambika Sanba was born on March 17th 1937 in Khokling,mikwakhola,Taplejung District.He is a Nepalese politician. He was elected to the Pratinidhi Sabha in 1994 and 1997 election,as the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) candidate in the Taplejung-2 constituency. [1]
After the election Sanba was named Minister for Population and Environment in the CPN (UML) cabinet of Man Mohan Adhikari.
In August 2005,after having been missing for seven months,Sanba's family notified the press that he had joined the underground Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre).

Nepal Ratna Man Padavi Madan Kumar Bhandari,commonly known as Madan Bhandari,was a popular Nepali political leader belonging to the Communist Party of Nepal,a democratic communist party in Nepal. He defeated the incumbent Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Bhattarai in a landslide victory in the 1991 general election. Known for his charismatic style,Bhandari propounded the popular communist principle or thought "People's Multiparty Democracy". He is widely regarded for peaking the Nepal's communist movement to a greater height. He died in a jeep accident in Dasdhunga,Chitwan,in 1993.

Rabindra Prasad Adhikari was a Nepali politician and three-time parliamentarian,belonging to the Nepal Communist Party (NCP). He was Minister of Culture,Tourism and Civil Aviation from 16 March 2018 until his death in a helicopter crash. He was the Kaski District secretary of the party. In the 2008 Constituent Assembly election,Adhikari was elected from the Kaski-3 constituency,with 13,386 votes. In the 2013 Constituent Assembly election,he was re-elected from the Kaski-3 constituency,with 15,456 votes. In 2017,CPN-UML candidate Rabindra Adhikari won parliamentary elections from Kaski Constituency No. 2. After his demise,his wife Bidya Bhattarai won Kaski Constituency-2 with a wide margin of 8,403 votes in the by-election. Bhattarai secured 24,394 votes,while her nearest contender Khem Raj Poudel from main opposition Nepali Congress got 15,991. Likewise,Socialist Party's Dharma Raj Gurung got 1,922 votes. He authored the books Constituent Assembly,Democracy and Re-structuring.

Pathibhara Yangwarak is a rural municipality (Gaunpalika) in Taplejung District of Province No. 1 of Nepal. Formerly the rural municipality was divided into many village development committees) located in Taplejung District in the Mechi Zone of EDR of Nepal. The local body came in existence when those VDCs:Nyangkholchyang,Thechambu,Tiringe,Dumrise,Chaksibot and Thumbedin merged after decision of MoFALD. Currently,it has a total of 6 wards. The population of the rural municipality is 13,591 according to the data collected on 2017 Nepalese local elections.
On February 27,2019,an Air Dynasty Eurocopter AS350 B3e carrying six passengers and one pilot was scheduled to fly a domestic chartered flight from Pathibhara Devi Temple in Taplejung to Chuhandanda in Tehrathum,Nepal. The aircraft crashed at approximately 1.30 p.m. (NPT) whilst in bad weather in Taplejung. All seven people on board died in the crash,including Rabindra Prasad Adhikari,Nepal's Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation.
Shiva Maya Tumbahamphe is a Nepali politician and the member of parliament. She has served as the Minister of Law,Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and as the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives. She has been active in politics for more than four decades as a communist leader in eastern Nepal. She holds a PhD in political science from Tribhuvan University. Before being elected the deputy speaker of the house,she was a central committee member of the CPN (UML).
