The America East men's soccer tournament (formerly known as the North Atlantic Conference championship [n 1] ) is the conference championship tournament in soccer for the America East Conference. The tournament has been held every year since 1988. It is a single-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. The winner, declared conference champion, receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I men's soccer championship.

The defending champions were the Stony Brook Seawolves, who were unable to defend their title after losing in the Quarterfinals to UMass Lowell. Albany won their third tournament in 4 years after a 5–1 victory in the final.

The tournament decided the America East Conference champion and guaranteed representative into the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. The tournament began on November 3 and concluded on November 11.

    The 2018–19 UMBC Retrievers men's basketball team represented the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They played their home games at the UMBC Event Center in Catonsville, Maryland, with one game being played at their former home, the Retriever Activities Center, and were led by third-year head coach Ryan Odom. They were members of the America East Conference. They finished the season 21–13, 11–5 in America East play to finish in third place. They defeated Albany and Hartford to advance to the championship game of the America East tournament where they lost to Vermont. Despite having 21 wins, they did not participate in a postseason tournament.

    The 2019 America East Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the America East Conference held from November 3 through November 10, 2019. The five-match tournament took place at campus sites, with the higher seed hosting. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the Albany Great Danes, who were unable to defend their title after losing in the Quarterfinals to Hartford. Stony Brook won their second tournament in three years after a 2–1 victory in the final. It was the first victory for first year head coach Tobias Bischof.

    The 2020–21 UMass Lowell River Hawks men's basketball team represented the University of Massachusetts Lowell in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by eighth-year head coach Pat Duquette and played their home games at the Costello Athletic Center in Lowell, Massachusetts as members of the America East Conference. In a season limited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the River Hawks finished the season 11–12, 7–9 in America East play, to finish in sixth place. They defeated Stony Brook, New Hampshire and UMBC to advance to the championship of the America East tournament. In the championship game, they lost to Hartford.

They finished the season 12–20, 9–9 in America East play to finish a tie for fifth place. They defeated Albany in the quarterfinals of the America East tournament before losing in the semifinals to UMBC.

    The 2022–23 UMBC Retrievers men's basketball team represented the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. As tournament champions, Maine earned the America East's automatic berth into the 2023 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament.

It was the first America East tournament victory for the Bryant Bulldogs soccer program, and first for Head Coach Ruben Resendes. As tournament champions, Bryant earned the America East's automatic berth into the 2023 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament.

The five-match tournament took place at campus sites, with the higher seed hosting. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the Maine Black Bears, The Black Bears successfully defended their title, defeating New Hampshire 3–0 in the Final. It was the second victory in program history for Maine and the second for twenty-third year head coach Scott Atherly. As tournament champions, Maine earned the America East's automatic berth into the 2024 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament.
