Mohammed Aamir Hussain Khan is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films. Referred to in the media as "Mr. Perfectionist", through his career spanning over 30 years, Khan has established himself as one of the most notable actors of Indian cinema. Khan is the recipient of numerous awards, including nine Filmfare Awards, four National Film Awards, and an AACTA Award, with one of his film productions also receiving an Academy Award nomination. He was honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri in 2003 and the Padma Bhushan in 2010, and received an honorary title from the Government of China in 2017.
Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language epic musical sports drama film written and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film was produced by Aamir Khan, who stars alongside debutant Gracy Singh and British actors Rachel Shelley and Paul Blackthorne. Set in 1893, during the late Victorian period of India's colonial British Raj, the film follows the inhabitants of a village in Central India, who, burdened by high taxes and several years of drought, are challenged by an arrogant British Indian Army officer to a game of cricket as a wager to avoid paying the taxes they owe. The villagers face the arduous task of learning a game that is alien to them and play for a victory.

Ada... A Way of Life (transl. Testimony) is a 2010 Hindi musical film written and directed by Tanvir Ahmad, with music by A. R. Rahman. Rahman composed the songs for Ada in 2001, after completing the score for Lagaan, but Ahmad's plans for the film were shelved. Though the music was composed for the original concept, the film features a new script as well as different actors, as it stars debuting actor Ayaan Ahmed, the director's son. Along with its notable composer, the soundtrack also features award-winning singer Jayachandran, contributing vocals for the first time to a Hindi language film.

Tauba Tauba is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language sex comedy film written and directed by T L V Prasad, starring Payal Rohatgi, Antara Biswas, and Amin Gazi. It was directed by T L V Prasad and is a remake of the 1981 American film Private Lessons which starred Sylvia Kristel. It was followed by a sequel in 2008, Phir Tauba Tauba which was also directed by Prasad.

Jannat Zubair Rahmani is an Indian actress who predominantly acts in Hindi-language television shows and films. She is best known for portraying Kashi in Kashi – Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora, Phulwa in Phulwa and Pankti in Tu Aashiqui. In 2022, Rahmani participated on Colors TV's stunt-based show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, where she finished at 4th place.
