Aminath Noora (born 11 February 1986) is a Maldivian actress.
In 2004, Noora made her screen debut with a video single directed by Mohamed Niyaz and rendered by Fazeela Amir. [1] Titled "Jaadhooga Jeheyney", the song topped several charts and was a hit, resulting in another video collaboration with Niyaz. [1] Titled "Visnaa Visnaa", the song marks the first Maldivian single aired through MTV (India). [1] [2]
Noora made her film debut with a Dark Rain Entertainment production, the Ali Shifau-directed romantic comedy Vaashey Mashaa Ekee (2016) opposite Mohamed Jumayyil and Mariyam Majudha narrating the life of a happily married couple being separated due to the husband's crippling fear of commitment on his wife's pregnancy. [3] [4] Her performance as a responsible mother and a caring friend fetched her a nomination as the Best Female Debut at the 8th Gaumee Film Awards ceremony. [5]
In 2017, Noora featured in the Ali Shifau-directed romantic comedy Mee Loaybakee alongside Mohamed Jumayyil and Mariyam Azza. [6] The film, which is considered to include the largest cast in a Maldivian feature film, narrates the story of two ex-lovers sliding into the friend zone with the envy and diffidence they experience amidst a convoluted love-triangle. [7] The film and her performance received mainly positive reviews from critics where Aishath Maaha of Avas called her acting to be "good overall". [7] The film emerged as one of the highest grossing Maldivian films of 2017. [8]

Vaashey Mashaa Ekee (transl. stay with me) is a 2016 Maldivian romantic comedy film directed by Ali Shifau. Co-produced by Mohamed Ali and Aishath Fuad Thaufeeq under Dark Rain Entertainment, the film stars Mohamed Jumayyil and Mariyam Majudha in pivotal roles. The shooting of the film took place in Malé, Hulhumalé and Villimalé.

Ahmed Shakir is a Maldivian actor and editor. He initial worked with the Dark Rain Entertainment team in technical department, prior to starring in small roles from the production company including the romantic comedies Vaashey Mashaa Ekee (2016), Mee Loaybakee (2017) and Vakin Loabin (2018). He had his breakthrough performance in another production from Dark Rain Entertainment, the comedy film Maamui (2019) in which he portrayed a dangerous gangster. Following this success, he continued working in several web series including the comedy sitcom Rumi á Jannat, the romantic comedy Giritee Loabi and the revenge thriller anthology Dark Rain Chronicles.
Mahdi Ahmed is a Maldivian screenwriter, producer and film director. He made his career debut with critically acclaimed film Amaanaaiy (1998), which fetched him several awards including a Gaumee Film Award for Best Director and Best Screenplay. From 1999 to 2002, he mainly worked as a director and screen writer in the Inter Office Teledrama Competition, which resulted him receiving six awards for the five films submitted. Afterwards, he was mainly recognized for his collaboration with Abdul Faththaah for the romantic disaster film, Hureemey Inthizaarugaa (2005) and fifty episodes' television series Hinithun Velaashey Kalaa (2006). This was followed by Ahmed Nimal-directed romantic film Vaaloabi Engeynama (2006) for which he was bestowed with another Gaumee Film Award for Best Screenplay.
