Amir Nasr Racing was a Brazilian auto racing team based in Brasilia. The team was created in 1980 by Amir Nasr under the "Brasilia Racing" name. [ citation needed ]
Amir Nasr Racing competed in Formula 3 Sudamericana and Formula Renault 2.0 Brazil all with race winning success that helped with the progression of many Brazilian drivers in junior formulas, such as Hélio Castroneves, Vítor Meira, Antônio Pizzonia, Luciano Burti, Bruno Junqueira, Cristiano da Matta, Mário Haberfeld, Max Wilson, Átila Abreu and Sérgio Jimenez.
The teams' first Stock Car Brasil appearance was in 2004 in a partnership with Brazilian racing driver Helio Castroneves as NasrCastroneves. [2] From 2007 until 2008 the team was renamed to Red Bull Racing after Red Bull started a partnership with the team. [3]
Amir Nasr is of Lebanese ancestry, his father having emigrated to Brazil in the 1960s. Nasr is uncle and manager of Brazilian racing driver Felipe Nasr. [4]
Hélio Castroneves is a Brazilian auto racing driver. He competes part-time in the IndyCar Series, driving the No. 06/66 Dallara-Honda for Meyer Shank Racing. He is one of four drivers to have won the Indianapolis 500 four times: in 2001, 2002, 2009, and 2021, and was runner-up in the IndyCar Series drivers' championship in 2002, 2008, 2013, and 2014. Castroneves also competes in the IMSA SportsCar Championship. He is a three-time winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona, consecutively in 2021 with Wayne Taylor Racing and 2022 and 2023 with Meyer Shank, in addition to the overall 2020 IMSA championship with Team Penske.
Cristiano Monteiro da Matta is a Brazilian former professional racing driver. He won the CART Championship in 2002, and drove in Formula One with the Toyota team from 2003 to 2004.
Stock Car Pro Series, formerly known as Stock Car Brasil, is a touring car auto racing series based in Brazil organized by Vicar. It is considered the major Brazilian and South American motorsports series. Starting in 1979 with Chevrolet as the only constructor, the series has also seen other constructors joining in and leaving such as Mitsubishi, Peugeot and Volkswagen, currently the only other besides Chevrolet is Toyota. The series is composed of 12 rounds, with the most important race, the Corrida do Milhão being worth double points and has a prize pool of R$1 million. The competition has seen many internationally famous drivers in its ranks, such as Rubens Barrichello, Felipe Massa, Jacques Villeneuve, Lucas di Grassi, Nelson Piquet Jr., Ricardo Zonta, Tony Kanaan and António Félix da Costa.

Fórmula 3 Sudamericana was a South American Formula Three championship. It was inaugurated in 1987 and primarily held races in Brazil and Argentina, with a small number of events held in other countries across the continent. Its most notable graduates include former Formula One drivers Nelson Piquet Jr., Ricardo Zonta and Christian Fittipaldi, four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Hélio Castroneves, and Champ Car champion and former F1 driver Cristiano da Matta. The series was replaced for 2014 by the Brazilian Formula Three Championship, which focuses on Brazilian circuits and drivers.
Autódromo Brasília BRB is a racing circuit in Brasília, the capital of Brazil. It is 5.476 km (3.403 mi) in length that hosted a variety of national-level series including Stock Car Brasil, Formula Truck and Formula 3 Brasil. The track was initially opened in 1974, and hosted non-championship rounds for both Formula One and the BPR Global GT Series, and in recent years was scheduled to host both MotoGP and IndyCar, but due to costs and construction delays, neither event went ahead. Previously named Autódromo Emilio Medici and Autódromo de Brasília, the circuit's name was later changed to honor Formula 1 World Champion Nelson Piquet. Following the transfer of ownership from Terracap to Banco de Brasília (BRB), the track is currently named Autódromo Brasília BRB. The track, which has been closed since 2014, is undergoing renovations that started in 2022 and are set to be completed at the end of 2023.
Luiz Felipe de Oliveira Nasr is a Brazilian racing driver, currently competing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship for Porsche. Nasr competed in Formula One from 2015 to 2016. In endurance racing, Nasr has won three IMSA SportsCar Championship titles, and won the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2019 with AXR; he also won the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2024 with Porsche.
Lucas Constantino Bethonico Foresti is a Brazilian racing driver who currently competes in Stock Car Brasil for KTF Sports.
Tom Leonard Blomqvist is a British racing driver. He competes in the IMSA SportsCar Championship with Meyer Shank Racing. Blomqvist also competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship with United Autosports in the LMP2 category. Blomqvist won the 2022 and 2023 24 Hours of Daytona with Meyer Shank and the 2018 24 Hours of Spa with BMW Motorsport. He is the son of 1984 Swedish World Rally Champion, Stig Blomqvist.

The 2010 Copa Chevrolet season was the first Copa Chevrolet Montana season. The category is the second tier of Stock Car Brasil replaces Copa Vicar. It began on April 11 at Curitiba and ended on December 5 at same circuit after nine rounds.

The 2017 Stock Car Brasil Championship is the thirty-ninth season of the Stock Car Brasil. The season marks the exit of Peugeot. The manufacturer entered in the series in 2007 and won the championship five times, including the last two seasons.
A.Mattheis Motorsport, currently competing as Ipiranga Racing due to sponsorship reasons, is a Brazilian auto racing team based in Petropolis, Rio de Janeiro, that currently competes in Stock Car Brasil and Império Endurance Brasil. The team was sponsored by Red Bull from 2009 to 2016 and is currently sponsored by Brazilian fuel company Ipiranga in Stock Car. A.Mattheis is among the most successful Stock Car Brasil teams, winning championships in 2005, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2021 and 2023.
The 2018 Stock Car Brasil Championship was the fortieth season of the Stock Car Brasil. The season started on 10 March in Interlagos Circuit, and ended at the same circuit on 9 December. Daniel Serra of RC Competições won his second championship, with Felipe Fraga finishing runner up.
The 2020 Stock Car Brasil Championship was the forty-second season of the Stock Car Brasil, starting at Goiânia on 26 July and ending at Interlagos Circuit on 13 December. The season marked the entrance of Toyota Gazoo Racing in the series. The championship was won by Ricardo Maurício.

The 2022 Stock Car Pro Series was the forty-fourth season of the Brazilian car racing series previously called Stock Car Brasil. It marked the return of Corrida de Duplas and the first race in an airport in stock car history. The season started on February 13 and ended on December 11 with the Super Final BRB, both at Interlagos Circuit.
The 2023 F4 Brazilian Championship was the second season of the F4 Brazilian Championship. It was a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations. The championship used Tatuus F4-T421 chassis.
The 2024 Stock Car Pro Series is the 46th season of the Stock Car Pro Series, the premier touring car racing series in South America, and the third season under the Stock Car Pro Series moniker. Gabriel Casagrande is the defending champion. The championship started in Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna, Goiânia and is set to finish at Interlagos Circuit, São Paulo.
