Sisa Waqa is a Fijian retired professional rugby footballer who last played for FC Grenoble in French Rugby Union. A Fiji international representative, Waqa primarily played on the wing. Waqa previously played for the Sydney Roosters in 2009, Melbourne Storm between 2011 and 2014, where he won the 2012 NRL premiership and the Canberra Raiders between 2015 and 2016.

The 2009 Sydney Roosters season was the 102nd in the club's history. They competed in the NRL's 2009 Telstra Premiership, finishing the regular season in last place and collecting the club's first wooden spoon since 1966.

Amjad Ali Aazmi, also known with honorifics by followers as Sadr al-Shariah Badr-e-Tariqat was an Islamic jurist, writer and former Grand Mufti of India. Amjad Ali was born in 1882, in the Mohalla Karimuddin Pur, Ghosi, Mau district, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father's name was Hakim Jamaluddin Ansari. His father and grandfather were scholars in religious theology and in Unani medicine.

Saula Waqa is a Fijian footballer who plays for Ba FC in the Fiji National Football League. He represented Fiji in the football competition at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Waqa has represented Nailaga Football Club and Flying Arrows Football Club in the local district club competitions. Being picked into the Ba squad at a very young age, Waqa has been instrumental in many big matches for the Fiji football giants scoring crucial goals. He was rewarded by Ba FC with the captain's arm bend at the age of 24 in 2020 after many senior players retired or left the club to join other teams.

The Finland cricket team toured Denmark to play a two-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series in July 2019. These were the first ever matches played by Finland to have T20I status after the International Cricket Council announced that all matches played between Associate Members after 1 January 2019 would have full T20I status. The venue for both matches was Svanholm Park in Brøndby, these being the first T20I matches to be played in Denmark. Denmark won the series 2–0.
