Ana Maria de Rezende Versiani dos Anjos (born 19 March 1983) is a Brazilian film director and musician. She is the guitarist and keyboardist of the rock band CSS. [2]

Music career

Rezende is responsible for the direction of CSS's first music video in Brazil, Off The Hook, filmed at Adriano Cintra's and Carolina Parra's house. She is also the other half of the DJ-duo MeuKu along with fellow CSS bandmate Luiza Sá.

Personal life

Rezende lives in Los Angeles and is married to actress Katherine Moennig. [1]

Daniel Rezende is a Brazilian film editor and director. He won the BAFTA Award for Best Editing for his work on the 2002 film City of God and was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Film Editing for the same film. City of God was listed as the 17th best-edited film of all time in a 2012 survey of members of the Motion Picture Editors Guild. In a 2003 interview to Channel 4, Rezende has described the editing process of City of God, saying he tried to "provoke differing sensations in each of the film's phases". In addition to the international nominations and awards received for City of God, Rezende's editing has frequently been recognized by regional awards in his native Brazil and in Argentina. Rezende has also given a master editing class at the prestigious international film school EICTV in 2011.

The Ministry of Culture submitted it for consideration of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the 82nd Best Foreign Language Film Oscar. The Film won the Crystal Lens Award for Best Feature Film at the 2nd Brazilian Film Festival of London.

Sérgio Rezende is a Brazilian filmmaker. He was born in Rio de Janeiro, and is best known for directing several biographical films, such as Lamarca, Mauá - O Imperador e o Rei, and Zuzu Angel, about guerrilla leader Carlos Lamarca, entrepreneur Irineu Evangelista de Sousa, and stylist Zuzu Angel Jones, who embarked on a frantic search for her son Stuart's body. His most recent release, Salve Geral, was submitted by the Ministry of Culture for consideration of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the 82nd Best Foreign Language Film Oscar. Written by Luiz Bolognesi, the screenplay is inspired in the life of Arlindo Barreto, one of many actors who played Bozo the Clown in Brazil. However, to avoid copyrights claim and preserve its creative freedom, the production does not use either the name of Bozo or Arlindo, adopting the fictional names of Bingo and Augusto, respectively.
